BATES, Isabelle Valerie (nee SHILLING) - At Getsidjig Endaawaad ECU Rama, Ontario, surrounded by her family, Isabelle passed early Saturday morning, March 16, 2024, in her 85th year.
Survived by her sisters, Brenda, Lana and Teresa; brother; Peter; nephew, Matthew; niece, Teri-Lynne; and son, Ross Allan Findlay.
Predeceased by her parents, Norman and Elsie Shilling; brother, Gregory; and her husband, Richard (Rick) Bates.
Isabelle was employed at the Workers' Compensation Board for 30 years and she was a longtime member and supporter of Timothy Eaton Memorial Church.
Visitation at Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Avenue West, Toronto, on Friday, March 22nd, from 7-9 p.m. Visitation at Timothy Eaton Memorial Church, 230 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto, on Saturday, March 23rd, at 10 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Reception immediately after at the church.
