WUNDER, Gloria - Born in Toronto on July 10, 1938, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2024.
Beloved wife of the late Terry Wunder (1993). Devoted daughter of the late Ruth and Harvey Borden.
Loving mother and mother-in-law of Jay Wunder and Leesa Avrith, and Michael Wunder and Joanna Sugar. Proud Nana of Taryn and Jack Wunder and Isabel, Teddy and Luke Wunder.
Sister and sister-in-law of Barry and Susan Borden, Betsy and the late Alan Borden, and the late Ron Wunder.
Special aunt, great-aunt, and cousin. Gloria looked out for and took care of many people, and never missed sending love and good wishes on milestone events and "just because".
She was a force who got things done and had a large circle of lifelong friends and fans in Toronto and Hamilton. A special thank you to Gloria's principal caregivers during her last months (Roanee, Valerie, and Amelia) and regular visitors who helped to keep her company, her dignity, and bring out some smiles during difficult times.
Service at Holy Blossom Temple, 1950 Bathurst Street, Toronto on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. Interment following at Holy Blossom Memorial Park, Toronto. Shiva at 55 Prince Arthur Avenue, Suite 805, Toronto.
