METCALFE, Robert "Bob" Wayne Metcalfe - 76, of Toronto, died on Sunday, March 17, 2024, after a brief illness at St. Michael's Hospital.
He was born on October 26, 1947, to Margaret and George Metcalfe in Sarnia, Ontario.
Bob was a geologist, and later, an instructor at the University of Toronto then Ryerson. Bob was married to Lynn Metcalfe (Leaver) from 1969 until 1999.
He is survived by sons, Ben (Dawn) and Patrick; grandson, Jacob; good friend, Chris; sister, Judy Clendenning; brother, Jim (Maxine); sister-in-law, Elsie; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brother, Reg; brother-in-law, Jerrie; and sister-in-law, Dorothy. He loved his time in Africa, and thoroughly enjoyed camping in the bush, and remote fishing trips.
