ODriscoll MichaelO'DRISCOLL, Michael Sean  - On March 30, 2024, at Toronto, ON, after suffering a massive bleeding of the brain two days earlier.

Born in Toronto on June 1, 1962, Michael was the second son of Hon.

John G. J. O' Driscoll and Patricia M. Slattery.

He received his primary education at Northlea Public, secondary at Leaside High, and St. Michael's College School.

He received a BA from the University of Toronto (SMC) in 1986 and LLB from Queen's University in 2003.

He was called to the bar of LSUC (now Law Society of Ontario) in 2004 by Hon. Frank Marrocco.

In 2003-2004, Michael was an articling student for Doug Hunt, K.C., counsel to the Commissioner of the SARS commission, the late Mr. Justice Archie Campbell; as directed, Michael did research for the SARS report. He was admitted to the Superior Court as a solicitor by his father and remained a non-practising member.

He was predeceased by his younger brother, Patrick F., in 1983.

He is survived by his parents; and brother, John Joseph and his wife, Marilou; nephew, Cody O'Driscoll; cousin, Michael Entwistle (Jo-Anne); niece, Patricia McWatters (Tim); and cousin, Daniel Entwistle (Cathy). Michael was a kind and loving son, brother, uncle, and cousin who was devoted to his family, true to his friends and saw the good in every human being he encountered.

He carried no chip on his shoulder although he carried a heavy burden with his affliction. He was the kind of person who made this weary world a better place.

He is and will be missed by all who knew him. R.I.P. Michael's family wish to thank the medical and nursing staff at Sunnybrook Hospital, Dr. Justin Geagea and healthcare staff at CAMH and the staff at St. Jude Community Homes for their care of Michael.

A Mass to Celebrate Michael's Life will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anselm's Church, 1 MacNaughton Rd., Toronto, ON (on Millwood Rd., 2 blocks east of Bayview Ave.). Michael's ashes will be buried beside his late brother, Patrick, in Mount Hope Cemetery.
