KNOTT, Frederick Raymond - Affectionately known as KNOBBY! Ray passed away peacefully, on Good Friday, March 29, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
He was predeceased by his father, Walter Knott; his mother, Catherine Knott (nee McGugan); his brother, Maurice Knott; his sisters, Irene Wildgen and Marie Hebblethwaite.
Ray leaves behind his loving and caring bride of 70 years, Patricia.
He was loved and admired by his children, Michael (Beverley), Nancy (Adrian) and Brian (Jodi) and his adoring grandchildren, Joshua (Alice), Justin (Michelle), Makenna (Brandon), Adrienne (Giovanni), Isabelle (Maddie) and Jesse (Tiana).
He was also loved dearly by all his nieces and nephews, family and friends. Ray never met a person he didn't like; he had a love for all and was the life of the party!
He enjoyed curling in the winter and golfing in the summer, and enjoyed many happy years of retirement in Florida, with wonderful friends.
He was fulfilled by a long and distinguished career as a maintenance technician for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, where he was affectionately known by his friends as Knobby!
He had a long and amazing life, and will be forever in our hearts, thoughts and prayers, and missed dearly by all. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
