Middlebrook RalphMIDDLEBROOK, Ralph Douglas   -  It is with heavy hearts we announce the loss of our dearest Ralph who passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the age of 77.

Ralph grew up in Hillsburgh with a passion for fast cars and living life to the fullest.

After settling down and starting a family, he established a successful construction business which he operated for over 25 years.

He was a skilled machine operator with a keen eye for the lay of the land and thoroughly enjoyed manipulating earth and rock into his vision or those of others.

Upon retiring, he re-ignited his passion for fast cars and rebuilt his 1933 Ford into his dream hot rod which he enjoyed driving to car shows across southern Ontario.

He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Laura Middlebrook (nee Ramage) whom he was lovingly married to for 42 years before her passing in 2014.

Cherished father to Blake (Kahle) Middlebrook of Calgary and Olivia (Paolo Casale) Middlebrook of Minesing. Proud grandpa to Abbygail, Jessica, Declan, Russell, Laura, and Reese. Dearly remembered by his special friend, Margaret Mills.

Always remembered by his siblings, Lynda (Edward) Fortuna, Rick (Beryle) Middlebrook, and Mark (Patricia Smith) Middlebrook as well as extended family members and friends.

Predeceased by his sister, Joanne Middlebrook. Although no longer physically here, Ralph lives on in the stories and memories he has left with all those he touched during his lifetime.

As per Ralph's wishes, and that of his family, a private cremation will take place.

A celebration of life will be scheduled this summer. If desired, memorial contributions to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
