HILL, Pauline Sylvia  -

April 19, 1929 – March 13, 2024

Beloved daughter of Leslie and May Hill, born in Plymouth Devon, died in Toronto, Canada.

Predeceased by her brother, Donald.

Greatly missed by her sister-in-law, Juliet.

After training as an Occupational Therapist, Pauline worked in London before being encouraged by her lifelong friends, Rachel and Harold Coward, to come to Canada.

Once in Toronto, she worked for what is now CAMH for the rest of her career, and volunteered with "The Clothes Line" upon her retirement. Her love of the arts made her an ardent attendee of classical music concerts, the ballet and Stratford.

She made many friends though her love of international folk dance, and membership in The Toronto Guild of Stitchery. A gentle soul and kind friend, she will be missed by friends in Canada and abroad. We would like to thank all the staff at The Teddington Retirement Home for their loving care in the last few years.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Fairlawn Avenue United Church, 28 Fairlawn Avenue, Toronto, on Wednesday, May 15th, at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
