WILSON, Norma Margaret Wilson  -  82 years, of Markham Ontario, died April 23, 2024 from Parkinson's disease.

 

Born in Scotland parents, Susan Cuthill and William.

Survived by goddaughter, Catriona Peat; and friends, Jennifer Randall and Judy Samuels. Deceased friends, Virginia Ross, Pam Dawson and Grace Miller.

 

All spent many good times together.Norma came to Canada in the 60's, settled first in Vancouver and then Toronto. She took on a position of CEO of nursing at Sunnybrook Hospital "Veterans wing".

 

Norma was a very private, thoughtful, caring person whose patience and attention to detail was evident in all things she did. Norma's life was complimented by her discovery of pets, at first a cat and then dogs. Her beloved "Hamish and Oscar" were never far from her side. She allowed her orderly life

 

to be turned upside down by them. Having Scottish blood in her veins, ensured love of golf and a dram of Scotch. She belonged to the "Ladies Golf Club" where she golfed all Summer.

 

She along with her friends, bought a house in Florida (The Villages), where she golfed all winter.

 

Funeral service will be held June 4, 2024, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at noon with visitation beforehand.

 

A brief reception will follow with scattering of ashes after. Any donations can be made to a Charity of Your Choice.
