Tenody Eva MariaTENODY, Eva-Maria Charlotte Irene  - Passed away July 6, 2017 at age of 88.

Loving wife of the late Thomas Tenody and proud mother of her four children: Eric and Jennifer; Charlotte and Darrell; Henry; Irene and Peter.

Caring grandmother of Riaz and Kristina, Aleya and Allan; Erika, Keegan; Ashley; and great grandmother to Xavier and Mia.

Born during war torn Europe, Eva-Maria immigrated to Val D’Or, Quebec and married Thomas Tenody in November of 1954.

They endured the cold winters and mining life before resettling in Oshawa, and later, Whitby. She and her husband built their matrimonial home and lived there for almost 60 years, where they raised their 4 children.

Eva-Maria was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, as family was her number one priority. Her other passions included gardening, cooking, baking, and knitting/crocheting.

She loved visitors - the doors were always open to strangers and relatives alike. She will be missed dearly by all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

If desired, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Canadian Wildlife Federation.

Memories and condolences can be shared at mountlawn.ca.
