McMURDO, Elizabeth McKay (Libby)  - In loving memory of Libby who passed away on October 19, 2017.

She was the eldest daughter of Colonel Hugh and Winnifred McKay of London, Ontario.

Libby was predeceased by her dear husband, Robert McMurdo and her sister Connie (Murray), her husband David (Murray), brother-in-law Bob Bailey and nephew Brent Bailey.

She is survived by her cherished children Jeffrey and Janice (Les Forster) and grandchildren, Lindsay and Kyle. Also surviving are sister Kay Bailey and nieces Martha Murray-Tyers, Deborah Murray-Hayes, Betsy Hofsteede, Martha Byers and Rob Byers.

Libby graduated from University of Western Ontario in 1953 and married Bob in 1954. They shared a wonderful life together, owning cottages first on Lake Muskoka and later on their treasured island on the French River.

They enjoyed traveling to many parts of the world before settling in Midland in 1999 to be close to family.

As per Libby's wishes, a graveside service with family only will take place in the future in London, Ontario.

The family asks that anyone wishing to make a donation please consider the Arthritis Society (with specialties in spine research), or the charity of your choice.
