MILNES, James Wilson - November 3, 1926 - November 1, 2017
Passed away from a battle with Parkinson's at age 90 at Scarborough General Hospital.
Jim will be sadly missed by his wife Judith (Judy) of 64 years, as well as his daughter Beverley.
Pre-deceased by son Keith. Always in the hearts of the extended families of both Jim and Judy's families in Scotland and England.
Friends and family will be received at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough, on Sunday, November 5, 2017 between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Private cremation to follow.
Originally from Aberdeen, Scotland, he moved to Toronto with Judy in 1956 to work as a carpenter.
Jim worked for Eastern Construction right up until his retirement in 1992.
Jim enjoyed playing trombone with various bands, jazz music, watching soccer, baseball and hockey, gardening and working around the house.
He also enjoyed many trips with Judy over the years to Cuba and various other places across North America.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson Canada or random acts of kindness would be greatly appreciated.
