MARKEVICS, Vija - It is with great sadness that the family of Vija Markevics, announces her passing on October 31, 2017 at the age of 95 years.
Vija died peacefully in her sleep at Kristus Darzs Latvian Home. Vija will be forever remembered by her son Uldis Blodans, daughter- in-law Marilee, her loving grandchildren Joshua (Jules), Caitlin (Simon) and Nicholas (Bre) and her great-grandchildren Oscar and Edie-May.
Vija was preceded in death by her son Martin Blodans and husband Otto Markevics. A private service for family will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017. Interment, Toronto.
