HOLMES, Kenneth Robert - Born July 3rd 1927, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 6th, 2017.
Devoted husband of sixty-five years to Marie (nee Hawkins).
Loving father of Marsha (Dave) Kennedy, Janet (Mike) Finucan and Dean (Karen) Holmes.
Cherished grandfather to Lisa (Stanko) Pavlovic, Chris (Nicole) Kennedy, Jennifer, Ryan, Connor and Gregory Finucan, Paris Holmes, and great grandfather to Emma.
Ken was born in London, Ontario where he lived until moving to Toronto in the early seventies to work at Canada Decal. Ken retired from the printing business after working as a manager for many years.
Lover of Jazz music, dancing, and known for his dry sense of humour, our Bubba, as he was affectionately known to his family, instilled his love of life and his kind- hearted manor to all his children and grandchildren.
The family is grateful to Rhonda and the staff at Rouge Valley Extendicare who provided exceptional care during Ken's long battle with Alzheimer's.
Friends may join us at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home at 11am November 12th for a Celebration of Ken's Life.
