RASS, Richard Paul Rass - June 25, 1956 - November 7, 2017
Passed away peacefully at his home with family by his side after a courageous fight with cancer on Tuesday November 7, 2017 in his 62nd year.
Beloved husband of Ellen (née Suitso) for 38 years.
Loving father to Jonathan (Allison) and Christopher.
Dear brother of Robert (Brenda), uncle to Briana and David.
Brother in law of Al Suitso (Deborah Best) and Peter Suitso (Teresa Barczynski).
Rick will be fondly remembered by many relatives and friends for his love of family, sports, reading, cooking, and entertaining. His passion for hard work throughout his academic life, extended into his insurance career from marketing rep to executive.
Friends will be received at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, on Sunday November 12th from 1 - 4 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday November 24th starting at 1:30 pm at Northridge Community Church, 15338 Leslie Street, Aurora, Ontario.
Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or Crohn's and Colitis Canada would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
