Carmichael JaneCARMICHAEL, Jane Lindsay (Nee Pollock)  - July 14, 1971 - November 10, 2017

Passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Brampton Civic Hospital with all her family by her side at the age of 46, after a long courageous struggle with cancer.

Jane was born on July 14, 1971 in Bramalea, Ontario to Valerie & Jim Pollock.

After completing her schooling, at which she excelled, she became a loved wife to Brian Carmichael and an adored mother and best friend to Maegan Victoria.

Jane is also survived by her older brother Ken and her sister Laurie & Gus Vagenas.

Jane was their baby sister. She was a much loved aunt to Chris, Lindsay and Taylor Vagenas, Courtney Scott, Nicolas Carmichael, Cameron and Caitlyn Buchanan, Brandon Henderson. She was a loving daughter-in-law to Glenna and Paul Carmichael.

Also, cousin to many Pollocks and Lindsays, and sister-in-law to many Carmichaels.
Jane worked for 20 years as Executive Assistant to Trevor Cohen at Giftcraft in Brampton and over the years became a close friend to Trevor and his family.

She was an avid reader and her great passion in life was supporting Maegan fully in all her endeavours which included music, art and hockey, travelling far and wide to attend every game and be the loudest cheerleader. Jane loved all 'her hockey girlies'.
Many thanks are extended to the doctors, nurses and staff at both Brampton Civic Hospital and Credit Valley Hospital for the excellent care Jane received.

Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, November 15th, 2017 from 6pm -9pm at Andrews Community Funeral Centre.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at noon on Thursday, November 16th, 2017 with a visitation one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to William Osler Health System Foundation or The Canadian Cancer Society in Jane's memory would be greatly appreciated by the family.
