duQUESNAY, David O'Neil LeMercier  -Died peacefully at Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill on November 15, 2017 at the age of 84.

David is survived by his loving wife, Goretti; children Nicole (Greg) Astill, Elizabeth (Michael) Calderone, David (Daniel) duQuesnay, Erin (Jimmy) Fuda and Marie-Therese (Anthony) duQuesnay; grandchildren Keira and Henry Calderone and Oliver Astill; and siblings Maureen Harrington and Brian duQuesnay.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Noel and Gladys duQuesnay.

David was born on October 12, 1933 in St. Andrew, Jamaica and relocated to Toronto with his family when he was 18. David married Goretti (Walsh) his "Wild Irish Rose" in June 1977 and began their new life together in Saskatoon where they raised their 5 children for 13 years before relocating back to Toronto.

His family will remember him as a loving, patient and supportive husband and father. His career as a professional Accountant spanned over 50 years.

Friends may call at the Marshall Funeral Home, Richmond Hill, on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass Our Lady Queen of the World, 10411 Bayview Avenue, Richmond Hill, on Saturday at 1 p.m.All are welcome to attend and celebrate David's life.
