GOVE, Robert William - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, Robert William, on October 7, 2017.
Bobby, loving brother to Jim and Karen (Barry).
He is remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews and cousins and by his dear friend, Lynn. Predeceased by parents, Gilbert and Margaret Gove.
Born in Weston, Ontario in 1954, Bobby faced many health challenges throughout his life.
Thank you to the wonderful staff of the intensive care unit at Joseph Brant Hospital.
A heartfelt thank you to the New Street Staff of Community Living, Burlington, for the many excursions - the Leafs and Jays games, the Meat Loaf concert, the bowling tournaments and the road trip to Disney World but most importantly, for your caring and compassion. Bobby was truly happy living at New Street and he loved you all.
A celebration of Bobby's life was recently held on a beautiful autumn morning at St. James' Cemetery Chapel in Toronto.
He was laid to rest beside our mother.
