LAAKSO, Joyce Lillian (nee Ashton) - Passed away peacefully on November 15, 2017 at the age of 88.
Predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, Carl.
Loving mother of Brian (Cathy), Stephen (Carol) and Liisa (Mark Kahkonen). Dear grandma of Blair (Tosha), Kevin, David, Christopher, Kyle and Paige and great-grandmother of Walker.
"Mama Joyce" will be best remembered for her love for the many children that she cared for over the years.
She will be sadly missed.
Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St., on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sick Kids Foundation would be appreciated.
