Stanko LesiaSTANKO, Lesia (nee NAZAROWEC)  - Surrounded by love, Lesia peacefully passed away in her sleep on Tuesday, December 5, 2017.

Lesia was born on May 28, 1955 to Valentyna and the late Michael Nazarowec.

Predeceased by her husband Steve, by 9 short months.

Loving mother to daughter Christine and son-in-law Steve Wielusiewicz and son Michael Stanko. Proud Baba to Zoe Wielusiewicz.

Cherished younger sister to Marika Nazarowec-White. Will be missed by her nieces Olanna and her husband Adam and great-nephew and niece, Max and Lucy Barnett, Jules and Talia Hamara and Stephanie Stanko.

Beloved sister-in-law to Kathy Hamara, John and Elena Stanko. Treasured daughter-in-law to Steve Sr. and the late Olga Stanko.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga, on Friday, December 8th from 2-5 and 6- 9 p.m. Panakhyda at 7:30 p.m. Orthodox Rite of Funeral will be held at All Saints of Ukraine Chapel at St. Volodymyr Cultural Centre (1280 Dundas Street West, Oakville), on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.
