HOWARTH, George Mark - Peacefully passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at his home at the age of 83.
Devoted husband of Margaret for 41 years.
Loving father of Catherine and Gerald (Natalie).
Cherished grandfather of Jessica, Richard, Laura and Justin. Predeceased by his sister Barbara Green. Dear brother-in-law of Gerald Green. George will be fondly remembered by Mark, Annemarie, John and Bernadette. George loved music and attended the Royal College of Music (Manchester, England) and was a member of the Blackpool Citadel Band.
After immigrating to Toronto in 1957, he spent many years in the music industry. He served in the North York Salvation Army Temple Band from 1976-1994.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 1-5 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St.,). A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel.
