Noble MargueriteNOBLE, Marguerite Elizabeth (Betty) (nee Chafe)  - Loved and Missed by Many.

Marguerite Elizabeth (Betty) Noble (nee Chafe) passed away on January 3, 2018 at Michael Garron Hospital (East York General).

Betty was born in 1931 and lived in Toronto throughout her life.

She had an active professional life working at Toronto Western Hospital.

While working in Human Resources and Rheumatology Department, she developed and maintained a keen interest in health and well-being. A lifelong affiliation with the YMCA took her on many journeys including a trip to Europe as a young woman where she fell in love with Florence. With her family, she was a member of the Geneva Park YMCA community spending time there nearly every summer.

She was an active member for over 50 years consistently participating in the life and work of the church. Betty was predeceased by her parents Marguerite and Arthur Chafe, her brother Arthur Chafe and her loving husband Arnold Noble. She is survived by her children George (Lily) and Andrew (Sandra) Noble, her grandchildren Grace and Thomas Noble and her sister Willie (Jack) Cox.

Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 9th, 11 a.m. at Bloor Street United Church (300 Bloor St. W., Toronto), followed by a reception.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to: Victoria University (at University of Toronto), YMCA Canada or Bloor Street United Church.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Trull Funeral Home at 1100 Danforth Ave., Toronto.
