McGowan MayMcGOWAN, Mary Jane 'May' - Passed peacefully in her sleep on January 7, 2018 at the age of 78.

Predeceased by her loving husband Eugene (2010) and grand-daughter Donna Marie (2013).

May leaves behind her sons James (Cathy), Eugene (Dawn), Terry, Michael (Andrea) and Kevin (Stefani).  Cherished gran to Kevin, Michael, Brianna, Samantha and Arianna and great-gran to Ryan and Sean.

May will be lovingly remembered by her sister Rose McNeil (James), brother-in-law Michael McGowan (Aileen), sisters-in-law Mary Langley (Gary), Patricia Connor (Chris) and her many nieces, nephews and friends in both Canada and her native Scotland.

May was an active member of the St. Catharines Scottish Club.

In keeping with May’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 12th at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines at 9:45am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME.
