CHERKAS, Stephanie - Passed away peacefully at Trillium Health Centre - Mississauga at the age of 93.
Reuniting with her beloved husband, the late Ostap Cherkas, loving mother of, Ihor and his wife Maria Cherkas, Donya and her husband Peter Ernst, proud babchia of Deanna, Stephen, and Julian.
Fondly remembered by her family in Canada, Ukraine and many friends.
Resting at Newediuk Funeral Home, 2058 Kipling Avenue, from Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Panakhyda Friday 7:30 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated from Saint Volodymyr Cultural Centre Chapel, 1280 Dundas Street West, Oakville, on Saturday, January 13, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow.
