      Ontario Junior Hockey League, Whitby Fury Junior A Hockey Club, in conjunction with Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, invite the community to sign a guestbook of condolence at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby in memory of the players and team personnel who lost their lives in Humboldt, Saskatchewan.

    The book will be available daily from  9 a.m. - 8 p.m. until Monday, April 23rd, at which time the book will be sent to the OJHL offices to be sent to the team in Saskatchewan

HumboldtStrong BannerA book of remembrance and support has been placed in the lobby of the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME for residents of Oshawa, Whitby and Clarington. This will be sent to the community of Humboldt to show our support and solidarity.

Feel free to add to our memorial in front of the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME.

Hockey sticks will be donated to support minor hockey in our community.

As well, OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL and DIGNITY MEMORIAL will make a donation to support Minor Hockey for every stick collected.

Koitsis ElpidaKOITSIS, Elpida  - Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.

Beloved and devoted wife of Tom.

Loving mother of Steve (Marry), Olga (Tom Melisis) and Helen (Tom).

Proud Baba of Thomas, Christopher, Marisa, Elyssia, Julia and Ariana.

Predeceased by her parents Pantelis and Eleni Nitsopoulos. Cherished sister of Tom, Mike, Danny and Peter.

Elpida will be dearly missed by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Resting at Highland Funeral Home Markham Chapel, Markham on Saturday, January 13th and Sunday, January 14th from 2-9 p.m.

Funeral Service on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church. Interment to follow.
