Valorzi JohnVALORZI, John - It is with great sadness, the family of John Valorzi announces his unexpected death at the age of 65 on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga as a result of complications after surgery.

He will be remembered and mourned by his adored daughters Deanna and Kara-Lane, wife Heather, mother Gliceria and sisters Sandra (Michael) Tedesco and Lillie (Al) Loduca.

He was predeceased by his father Gino.

He will be missed by nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

John was a well-respected journalist with over 40 years experience, retiring from The Canadian Press in 2008. John could not stay inactive for very long and was most recently a columnist for Peel Daily News. He enjoyed covering politics, economics, business and all levels of government.

John stayed true to his legacy of changing hearts and minds through information.

Mr. Valorzi is resting at the funeral home of Skinner & Middlebrook, 128 Lakeshore Rd.E., Mississauga on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 11 Peter St. N., Mississauga on Saturday, February 10th at 11:30am.

Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
