MONTGOMERY, Lorna Gail - Was born June 29, 1947 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where she was raised.
She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a BSc. in 1969 and from University of Toronto with a Diploma in Physio and Occupational Therapy in 1973.
She is survived by her son Kris Mermigas, his wife Mary Jane, adored grandchildren Lorelle, Julia and George, her sister Janet Montgomery, her brother Jeff Montgomery and family and countless friends.
She was a Canadian leader in early childhood intervention and a mentor to many.
Her vision for services has influenced the lives of thousands of infants, children and their families in Ontario and elsewhere.
Her contributions to persons with disabilities are immeasurable. She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Mississauga Grand Event Centre on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 4-8 p.m.
