Livio was born on May 2, 1938 in Spormaggiore, Italy.

At the age of 16, he immigrated to Canada with his family, where he proceeded to complete his education and became a teacher and musician. Over the last 55 years, Livio has impacted thousands of students as a teacher and has brought joy to many more through his music.

He will be missed by all who have had the pleasure of meeting this incredible man. The funeral information is as follows: Visitations on Monday, March 5th at Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7 in Woobridge from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. The Mass will be held Tuesday, March 6th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi, 150 St. Francis Ave.

As we mourn his death and celebrate his life it is appropriate to quote a song he has sung many times in the voice of Louis Armstrong, "And I think to Myself, What a Wonderful World".
