FARGAS, Patricia "Pat" Villanueva - It is with great sadness the family announces the profound loss of Patricia on March 4, 2018 at Scarborough General Hospital.
Born on April 28, 1949 in San Pablo, Philippines, Patricia was the devoted wife to Jose "Ping" for 46 years and loving mother to Veronica (Jason), Michelle (Christopher) and Melissa (Marlon).
Pat was the much loved and proud Lola to Jamie, Kasey, Arielle and Henry. She will be dearly missed by her siblings Sr Fe, Augusto Jr. (Cathy), Alberto (Doah), Cynthia, Arturo (Ester), Elizabeth (Danilo), Arsenio (Millie Ann) and Milagros (Remus). She began her working career at a law firm, followed by years at IBM Philippines as the Executive Secretary to the President until her move to Canada in 1988.
In 2010, she retired with Enbridge Gas after 21 years of dedicated service as Senior Legal Secretary. Retirement was filled with spending time with her family, welcoming her grandchildren and seeing shows at her favourite casinos. Patricia's memory will last forever and she will remain in our hearts always.
Visitation will be held at Highland Funeral Home (Scarborough Chapel) on Thursday, March 8th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Prince of Peace Parish on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Highland Memory Gardens on Monday, March 12th at 11 a.m.
