Stroud PhyllisSTROUD, Phyllis Marian (nee BAGGS)  - Sept. 8, 1923 - Mar. 10, 2018

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Phyllis M. Stroud on March 10, 2018 in her 95th year.

Phyllis was a quiet, gentle woman, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who loved her family with all her heart.

Phyllis was always excited when attending family gatherings. She was so very proud of her children Terry (wife Frances), Shirley (Tom deceased) and Marilyn (husband Brent).

They will always remember the love and support she gave them. She will be sorely missed. Phyllis was predeceased by husband Charles, brothers William and Raymond and sister Olive. Phyllis raised her family in Mount Dennis and worked at Moore Business Forms.

She was a member of the Roselands Horticultural Society and enjoyed growing prize roses in her backyard. Phyllis loved her cat Baby and was an avid Blue Jays fan.

Phyllis leaves behind grandchildren, Steven, Lance (wife Alison) Jason, Brock (wife Angela), Danielle, Brad (wife Michelle), Megan (husband Rob) and Jonathan. Great-grandchildren Bromley, Avery, Bailey, Ava, Christopher, Zachary and Joshua and great-great-grandchild Vivian. Special thanks to wonderful neighbours and friends Harry and Liz Sands for all their help over the past few years while Mom was at home and need of help and companionship.

Friends and family are invited to a gathering for visitation on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service to celebrate Phyllis's life at 1:00 p.m. at Central United Church, 1 King St., Weston.

Mom enjoyed flowers in their natural environment.

In lieu of flowers, please remember Phyllis for the kind and giving woman that she was and if you wish, please donate to the charity of your choice.
