DEMERSE SR., Robert (BOB) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Bob on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the age of 83 years.
Bob is now reunited in heaven with his dear parents Mary Demerse (nee Flaxy) and Lawrence, brothers Lorne, Don and sister Linda Sinclair and son-in-law Mike Langevin.
He was the loving husband of Lois (nee Phillips). Cherished father of Bob Jr., Mike (Lynda O'Connell) and Janet Langevin.
Devoted "Papa" of Danielle, Olivia, Mitchell and Trent.
A longtime member the Brampton Curling Club and Brampton Lions Club, previous proprietor of Bob Demerse Building Supply and Beaverton Golf and Country Club. Bob will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all his family and friends.
Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home, (289 Main Street North) on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 12 p.m. With a brief visitation commencing at 11 a.m. Private cremation.
In lieu of flowers, Donations in loving memory of Bob to the Bethell Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
