CURRY, Josephine Ann  - Josephine Ann Curry was born on March 20, 1929 in Galway, Ireland.

She was the youngest of eight children of Patrick and Anne Joyce Curry.

Her sisters May, Bridget and Gertrude and two brothers Patrick and Michael are deceased.

Her sisters Kathleen and Nora are living in County Galway, Ireland. She has many nieces and nephews living in Ireland, USA, Australia and one nephew Gordon in Canada.

Josephine immigrated to Canada in approximately 1970 and taught with York Region Catholic and Toronto Catholic School Board. She was an educator throughout her life both by profession and example of her life.

Her Catholic Faith was her pillar of strength both in joys and struggles. Josephine spend her later years at St. Bernard's Retirement Home and moved to Mariann Home when she required more nursing care. Daily Mass and praying the rosary gave her peace and strength as she accepted her illness.

Visitation will be held at St. Bernard's Convent, 685 Finch Ave. W., Toronto, Wednesday, March 21st from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at a later date.

In memory of Josephine, donations may be made to St. Bernard's Convent Residence.
