O'NEILL, Mary Patricia (Pat) - Passed away peacefully at her home on April 8, 2018 in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.
She was the wife of Frank L. O'Neill, daughter of William and Olive Dumas (nee Morrow) and sister of Audrey Halladay, all deceased.
Pat was born in 1935 in Toronto. She attended Loretto Abbey Catholic Secondary School where she met her husband Frank at a St. Mike's dance. They married in 1957.
A primary school teacher, Pat left teaching to raise her two children Marylee (Niagara-on-the-Lake) and Gregory (Scottsdale, Arizona). Pat was a very active volunteer with both the Oshawa General Hospital Board and The Parkwood Foundation.
Together she and Frank enjoyed many winters with friends in Satellite Beach, Florida.
Pat will be greatly missed by her children and her grandchildren: Jeremy, Christopher and Katie Houghton and Auriel and Belle O'Neill.
Services will be held at St. Vincent De Paul in Niagara-on-the-Lake on Thursday, April 12th at 11 a.m., followed by a reception for friends and family.
Donations may be made in Pat's memory to The Parkwood Foundation or to Stella's Place (Young Adult Mental Health).
