SCHOFIELD, Edna - Edna, beloved daughter of Alice Palmer and George Nettleship born in Leeds, England on March 5, 1925, passed away in her 93rd year in Don Mills, Ontario, April 14, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Edna was predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years, Peter Schofield.
Loving and devoted mother to her children: Glenn (Arden), Paul (Susan) and Kim (Terry). Adoring Grandma to her grandchildren: Tiffany, Hunter, Brianna and Spencer. Sadly missed by her brother, Arthur (Betty). Edna was an employee of CIBC for over 30 years. She loved her family, friends, dogs, dancing, cruising and sewing.
She was a Blue Jays fan and travelled the world with family and friends, teaching many along the way how to make a proper cuppa "hot" tea! With her caring heart and loving generous nature, she greeted each day with conviction, intelligence, humour and a caliber of inner strength not often seen.
Forever in our hearts, we love you Mum. A private family service will be held. Heartfelt thanks to the VHA, Revera and Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre for all their care and support, in particular Dr. Eric Leung.
