Mason JuneMASON, June Elsie (nee CLYDESDALE, EMSLEY)  - June 4, 1923 - May 5, 2018

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of June Mason on Saturday, May 5, 2018 a month before her 95th birthday.

She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her children Heather, Glenn (Vicky) and Ross; her grandchildren Rob (Beth), Dawn (Geoff), Emily (Tom) and Ian; her step-grandchildren Jacqueline (Eric) and Lee; her great-grandchildren Ashley, Avalon, Clover and Theo and her sister Betty (Ernie).

Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Mary, her brothers Alfie, Jack, Ted, Norm, Eddie and Eugene.

She will also be fondly remembered by the Sweet Adelines City of Gardens Chorus in Victoria, BC where she sang for over 30 years and loved every minute. June embraced life and impacted everyone she met with her beautiful smile and vivacious manner.

She exemplified growing older gracefully and enjoyed her new found craft hobby.

She was passionate about tennis and loved to watch Coronation Street and the Young and the Restless. June moved back to Toronto after years of living in British Columbia to be near her family and resided at Retirement Suites by the Lake.

We all feel very lucky to have had her in our lives. There will be a celebration of June's life at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough, on Sunday, May 27, 2018 from 2-5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
