BARTON, Ralph Thomas - Peacefully at home on Wednesday May 23, 2018, in his 71st year.
Ralph will be missed by his wife Frances, his son Robert (Kelly), his granddaughter Jessica, and his many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.
After graduating from Ryerson University (1971), he started his career in property management in social housing, to company housing, to luxury condos, to the Bank of Nova Scotia and Scotia Plaza.
He never forgot his East York roots, loving High School football and Glee Club. When his son was young, he enjoyed many years of coaching kid's hockey. At 40 he discovered curling, and enjoyed playing Santa at Scotia Christmas parties and at EYCC.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Metropolitan United Church located at 56 Queen St E, Toronto, on Tuesday May 29, 2018. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a service commencing at 12:00 p.m.
The family requests that since this is a Celebration of Life, please wear colourful clothing and bring "Ralph Stories" to share during the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
