MEFFE, Maria - June 1, 1922 – May 25, 2018
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 25th at the age of 95.
She was predeceased by her husband Franco Meffe.
Loving mother to Pasqualina (the late Matteo D'Addario), Nicolina (the late Domenico Mazzocco), Nick (Giovita), Ross (Cheryl) and Filomena (the late Paul Heaver).
Beloved nonna to Michelina (Bob), Joe (Pauline), Silvio (Carla), Franco (Vivian), Patricia (Luigi), Fabio (Henna), Julie (Ivan), Alicia, Ricky and Rebecca.
Bis-nonna to Jonathan, Roberto, Thomas, Andrew, Grace, Stephen, Eric, Lucas, Adrianna, Daniel, Katerina, Massimo, Sabrina, Luka, Bianca and Mila. Born in Torella del Sannio, Italy, Maria and her husband Frank immigrated to Canada in 1957 with their family.
She will be sadly missed by many friends and relatives.
Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St., on Sunday, May 27th from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Paschal Baylon Church, 92 Steeles Ave. W., on Monday, May 28th at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society.
