STACHIW, Russell   -  Retired - Educator at Toronto Catholic District School Board Peacefully at the Scarborough General Hospital in the loving care of his family on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the age of 80 years.

Russell, devoted and beloved Husband of Jean (nee Lindholm) for 57 years.

Cherished Father of Donald (Annette) of Calgary, Alberta, David (Sharon) and Peter (Joanne).

Proud and loving Papa of Andrew (Sarah), Thomas (Katherine), Christian, Patrick, Caiden, Terrin, Liam, Kayla and Erica. Adored Big Papa of Emma and Logan.

Russell will be fondly remembered by his extended family members, colleagues, students, friends and neighbours.

Friends and family may visit at the McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, 2900 Kingston Road, on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 1 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Highland Creek Roman Catholic Church, 200 Morrish Rd., on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 2 p.m. Private Cremation.

Memorial donations may be made to The Coalition for Music Education at www.musicmakesus.ca Scarborough Hospital Foundation www.srhfoundation.ca or the Corporate Drive Satellite Dialysis Unit, 78 Corporate Drive, Scarborough. Special thanks to the caring doctors and wonderful nursing staff of 2nd floor Tower Nephrology.

Please join us on Friday, June 15, 2018 for Russell's Celebration of Life at Neil McNeil High School, 127 Victoria Park Avenue from 4 to 6 p.m.
