FOTHERBY, Jack  - Passed away peacefully in Southampton on Monday, June 25, 2018.

John Henry Fotherby of Southampton and formerly of Pine Grove, in his 84th year.

Loving husband of June Edith Fotherby (nee Pentney) for over 65 years.

Dear father of Bruce and his wife Kathy of Southampton, Jackie and her husband Doug Smith of Port Elgin, Jim and his wife Lois and Penny and her husband Rick Gingrich both of RR 1 Southampton and Robert and his wife Lori of Paisley.

Proud grandfather of Sarah (Derek), Sam (Sarah), Heather (Patrick), Jennifer (Gord), David (Jody), Diana (Dan), Nathan (Cara), Ashley (John), Sabrina "Brooke", Cassandra and John.

Great-grandfather of Ben, Owen and Collette, Grayson and Duncan, Danica and Kaelyn, Rebecca, Alyssa and Alexander, Jackson and Presley, Kaine, Emrich, Noah and Isabelle, Illa, Sylis and Couper. Survived by his sister Olive Parker and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents George and Myrtle, by his brother Bill and by his brother-in-law Lorne Parker. Jack enjoyed many travels across Canada with June, all through their years together, he also enjoyed planes and his time puttering in the workshop woodworking.

Visitation at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 2-5 p.m. A Funeral Service to Celebrate the Life of Jack Fotherby will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow.

A time of fellowship and sharing will follow at the St. Paul's Community Hall. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Grey Bruce, the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation, or to the Charity of Choice.
