DAMER, Marjorie - It is with great sadness that the family of Marjorie Damer announce her passing on Monday, June 25, 2018 in her 94th year at Greenwood Court Long Term Care Facility in Stratford, Ontario.
Her life began in Brighton, England in August 1924 and after coming to Canada in 1945 as a war bride, she spent many happy years with her family in Toronto, Lorne Park, Muskoka and Oakville before moving to Stratford in 2016.
She made many friends along the way and her love of animals will be fondly remembered by all. Predeceased by her loving husband of fifty years, Andrew (1994).
She will be forever remembered and missed by her four children: Mary (Charlie, 2011); Andy (Brenda); Valerie (Steve); and Kathy (Rick).
She will also be remembered with much love by her grandchildren: Shane (Dina); Sara; Andrew; and Jamie; and great-grandchildren: Cole; and Ryan; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Greenwood Court who were so dedicated and loving to our Mom.
A celebration of Marjorie's life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marjorie's name may be made to the Ontario Humane Society.
