Kernohan KenKERNOHAN, Ken  - March 10, 1937 - July 11, 2018

Ken, the beloved husband of Mary (nee Tutt), passed away at home in Toronto peacefully after a brief illness.

He was deeply loved and will be missed by Mary, daughter Margaret, son Brian and wife Susy and grandchildren Megan, Ryan, and Jacklyn.

Ken was predeceased by his grandson Joshua.

Ken was the youngest son of Hugh and Helen Kernohan and was predeceased by his brother Glen and survived by sister-in-law Anne Kernohan. Ken worked for almost 40 years at Markham District High School in both the Geography and Guidance Departments and retired in 1997.

As a member of Bridlegrove Bible Chapel, many will remember Ken's strength and faith as a Sunday School Teacher. A lifelong educator, Ken continued teaching ESL at the church up until this spring. He will be missed by his friends there.

Visitation will be at Highland Funeral Homet, Scarborough, on Monday, July 16th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., with a Service on Tuesday, July 17th at 10:30 a.m. and lunch reception to follow at Remezzo Italian Bistro. Burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Yonge Street Mission at www.ysm.ca/.
