SWALWELL, Peter Joseph  - Died peacefully on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Credit Valley Hospital surrounded by his family. Peter, loving husband of Rosanne of 52 years, devoted father to Kevin (Leann) and Mark (Karyn).

Beloved grandfather of Matthew and Bradley.

Son of the late George and Irene Swalwell, loved brother of Sheila (Richard Day). Dear Uncle of Melanie (Mark), Martha (David) and Stephanie (Scott).

Beloved brother-in-law of D'Arcy (Trish), Peg (Dale), Jim (Peter), Bill (Sue), Jane (Bourke), John (Anne) and many nieces and nephews. Peter's courage, wit and spirit in facing each day was a constant source of strength for his family.

Peter enjoyed a very rewarding 30-year career with the Peel Board of Education as a Secondary School Teacher and Principal. He cherished the many great friends and colleagues with whom he worked during his career and derived great satisfaction in helping students learn and develop. We wish to thank the team at the Credit Valley Palliative Care unit for their extraordinary care and compassion.
