HUTCHINGS, Paul Stephen - It is with sadness that we announce the death of Paul Hutchings on July 12, 2018.
Paul was predeceased by his loving parents, Ken and Irene and his devoted sister, Wanda.
He will be mourned and fondly remembered by his relatives in New Brunswick, Sudbury, the United Kingdom and the United States as well as his many colleagues and friends in different parts of the world.
Paul was a teacher with the MSSB/TCDSB for 35 years. He was a creative and passionate teacher who instilled in his students a keen interest in History and a great appreciation of the Arts, particularly Theatre and Drama.
He encouraged his students to cultivate their curiosity, develop their creative levels and to strive to achieve their potential.
He loved his numerous summers and holidays in England and liked nothing more than exploring the hills, dales and Cathedrals of his beloved England and sharing a pint or two of Guinness with his friends.
Paul was a gentle man, a loyal and caring friend who will be missed by all those who knew him.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Artful Dodger Pub, 10 Isabella St., Toronto.
