Peacefully passed away at Bridgepoint Health Centre on October 14, 2014 with his daughter Joanne and son John (Margaret) by his side. He joins his wife of 25 years Vera (nee Noonan) and his daughter Wendy (Ian).

Loving grandad/ papa of Jason (Jennifer), Dylan and his sister Shannon. Dear brother of Tiny, Creepers, Ray (Bev), Rita and Jean and predeceased by siblings Robbie, Alex, Dave (Evelyn), Duddie (Babe) and Emily.

Joe grew up in New Waterford, Cape Breton Island, having moved to Toronto in the 1950s.

He was a dedicated member of AA and actively involved in numerous community groups, including Senior Link at Community Centre 55.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, 16 Lockwood Road, at Queen Street East, on Saturday, October 18th at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Franco Ernesto Pica on Tuesday in his 71st year.

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Franco peacefully passed at home with his dedicated, loving wife of 47 years, Marcella and his devoted daughters Marla (Roberto Iosue), Romina (Mark Zizzo) and Tanya (Jim Saleh) by his side.

Franco also leaves behind seven dear grandchildren Monique, Marcella, Lucas, Alessia, Andreas, Julian and Marcel, who were crazy about him.

A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, October 19th from 1 - 4 p.m. at MARQUIS GARDENS ANCASTER, 1365 Sandhill Dr., L9G 4V5.

With great sadness his children announce his sudden passing on October 14, 2014 at the age of 71.

He was everything Stephanie and Jeffrey wanted in a friend and father. His special treasures were his beloved grandson Jack and granddaughter Lauren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert "Bob" and Grace Pogue and his adored wife Doreen Pogue in 2004. The family asks that no flowers be sent.

For those who wish, donations may be made to the Ian Anderson House.

Though Larry succumbed to a stroke, his best friend Jim Dellio sadly lost his battle with cancer three weeks ago and he was so impressed with the care Jim received.

Rivet_Francine(May 20, 1949 - October 14, 2014) - Our lovely Francine was adored by anyone who the pleasure of meeting this wonder-filled lady.

Being a flight attendant for Air Canada for 35 years, she travelled the world and valued the magic of this earth's amazing landscapes, architecture and peoples. Her language skills included English, French and Spanish.

Blessed with numerous siblings and one son Vincent, Francine always made genuine time for her family and friends.

Her passions included travel, fashion, dining, mothering, gardening, bowling, Scrabble, Crib and recently live music.

As Francine quickly passed with little suffering, it was devastating to those close to her. Her smile, energy and spirit will always be amongst us. You will be sorely missed sweet Francine by so many - and our memories will always be vivid.

Memorial visitation will be held in Oakville on Friday, October 17th.

Much loved Dad of Shari Ashby and her Husband, Greg.  Beloved Papa of Kaitlyn and William.  Survived by his Dad, Harold Cronk and Sister, Lois Faye Cronk. 

Predeceased by his Mom, Kay Cronk and brothers Lenny Whattam and Kollan Cronk.  Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, who have many great memories of their fun Uncle Roger.

Roger will be greatly missed by his dear friends who were like family, Billy & Donna Meikle, Clint & Joy Kinney, Dave & Linda Todd, Brian & June Johnston and their families.   A heartfelt thank you for the love and friendship you shared.
