Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday, May 7, 2015 with his family by his side.

Albert, in his 82nd year, beloved husband to the late Inge Sauve, Loving father of Derrick (Yvonne), Alan, Michael, Kim (Shawn), Tony, and Linda (Frank).

Proud grandfather and great-grandfather. Albert will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, family, friends and the many who knew him.

Family and friends will be received at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (North of Hwy 2). 905-443-3376 on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 1:30PM to 2:30PM. A Memorial service will be held in the chapel at 2:30PM following the visitation.

Cremation interment at Mount Lawn Cemetery to be held at a later date.

After a courageous battle with cancer, Marika passed away peacefully at Baycrest Hospital Palliative Care Unit.

Beloved daughter of Tom and Jessie.

Marika will be lovingly remembered by all her extended family in Canada and abroad.

As per Marika's wishes, no public visitation will take place.

Friends are welcome to attend a Mass for Marika in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Monday, May 11th at 12:00 p.m. at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Avenue).

Passed away peacefully, at the Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at the age of 76.

Beloved wife of James Scott for 55 years.

Loving mother of Lisa Cockburn (Calvin) and Mary-Lynn Levis (Millo). Proud grandmother of Matthew, Brandon, Courtney, Abigail and Esther. Marilyn was a Missionary, High School Teacher and Principal who devoted her time teaching students and giving them the wings to pursue their dreams. She had a strong love for Jesus and now she is with her Saviour.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Neweduk – Erin Mills" Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (just east of Erin Mills Pkwy.), on Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at the Malton Baptist Church, 3415 Etude Dr., Mississauga, at 11 o'clock.

On Thursday, May 7, 2015, Marie passed away peacefully in her sleep with her loving husband Cam by her side.

Marie will always be known as a shining star who brought sunshine and light to every room she entered and everyone around her.

She will be sorely missed by her daughter Johana, her husband Christian Schneider and his parents Irmi and Hugo Schneider.

Much-loved by Cam's daughter Dawn Marie and her husband Jim McLean.

Marie's sense of style, zest for life, passion for hairstyling, shoes, golf and travel are just a few of the remarkable things we knew and loved her for.

In honouring Marie's wishes, she will be cremated.

A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.

Peacefully, on May 7, 2015 at the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre, in her 94th year.

Loved mother of Pat Hicks, Stephanie Hodgins and the late Rosemary Mallory.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Geoffrey Willock Smith. She was the beloved grandmother of Claire and Chris Hicks and Laura and Tom Hodgins and great-grandmother of Jack, Paige, Will, Nate and Gwendolyn.

She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews.

Heartfelt thanks to her devoted caregiver, Gina Polo and the nurses and staff at Sunnybrook.

Joy immersed herself in volunteerism throughout her long life in all of the communities where she lived, and was honoured as Oakville's Volunteer of the Year in the 90s.

In recognition of her military service in the Canadian Women's Army Corps, a Flag Service was held at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre.

Cremation has taken place. Private family interment.

Arseneault_MervynMay, 6, 2015 was a beautiful spring day. Mervyn woke up and announced “today would be the day”. He refused the hospital as he was ready to go to Heaven. Mervyn passed away peacefully in my arms at home.

Remember his strength, his laughter, his integrity and his stubbornness. It all made Merv the man we've been blessed to have in our lives while he was with us.

Mervyn was proud to be a Godfather and was blessed to have so many righteous brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and two beautiful great-great nieces. He had many aunts and uncles to look up to and the love of his dear parents. Mervyn became a step-Dad late in life and a proud family man who held dear the love of his wife.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.

He is missed by many and loved by all. God Bless you Mervyn. I love you forever and a day.

Died peacefully of cancer at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Sheila, beloved daughter of the late Patrick and Elsie Devereaux, is survived by loving sister Dianne McDermott (Barry), and has been a caring Aunt to Patrick, Alan and Laura.

She is predeceased by sisters Joan Marsh (Herb), Barbara Mawson (Roy), and brother Desmond (Naureen). She is lovingly remembered by extended family and closest friend Dina MacPhail, as well as Stuart, Aidan and Spencer Barnes. Sheila graduated in Nursing from St. Michael's Hospital.

As a well respected Adoption Worker at the Catholic Children's Aid Society for 35 years, she displayed an endless dedication to placing children into good homes. Always one to make people feel welcome, she will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles - Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11.

The funeral service will take place in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12. Reception to follow. Interment at a later date.

Foster_BeatPassed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Pinecrest Nursing Home with her family by her side.

Daughter of the late Laura Jane and Abel Cooper, Beat was born in Grates Cove, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland on July 26, 1925. While in Toronto she met the love of her life the late Herbert Avery Foster. They raised their four children Edwin (Sharon), Ken (late Betty), Gary (Patsy) and Shirley (Bryant) Pushie.

Beat was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. She was a blessing in our lives. She will always be remembered as a kind and caring mother. She took us to church so we could see how the Lord guides us through all situations. She attended Trinity United Church in Bobcaygeon for many years until she moved into Pinecrest Nursing Home. She loved singing the old time hymns.

Beat was always there to help anyone in need. Her purpose in life was to make everyone happy and be there for each other. She loved spending time with her nine grandchildren and her 13 great grandchildren. Beat will be missed by everyone who knew her because she always made them feel good through her loving and caring ways. Beat is now rejoicing in heaven with her husband Herbert and joining her family that have gone before her.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 13th at 1:00 PM in Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, Ontario.  Visitation will be held from one hour prior to service. A reception will follow.

As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to Pinecrest Nursing Home.

On Wednesday, May 6 2015, shortly after midnight, Razani Arnold Fulwell died at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Moyra and son, Fraser, who wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all of Roz's friends and family for their support over the past few years.

Roz was very lucky to be surrounded by so many loving people.

We also wish to acknowledge the outstanding care and dedication by the team at PMH. Thank you all.

Birgit Goris passed away peacefully at the Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill on May 6, 2015 surrounded by family.

She was the dear wife of the late Vincent Goris, loving mother of Lucas, grandmother of Rilan, Liv and Sierra, aunt of Tina, Morten and Lone, great-aunt of Ida Sofie, Alma, Caroline and Cecilie, sister-in-law of Lise and beloved sister of Jens and Gerda. Birgit was born in Sonderborg, Denmark, September 5, 1942 and came to Ontario in 1964.

Birgit loved life and enjoyed being with family and friends.

She travelled frequently to Denmark, Europe and beyond. She remained very active throughout her life, rowing, bicycling, skiing and going on walking tours.

A longtime hairdresser, many women relied on her to style their hair. She cared deeply about the people in her life and will remain in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held Monday, May 11th at 2 p.m. at The Danish Lutheran Church of Toronto, 72 Finch Ave. W.

Sadly missed by her friends and family.

Predeceased by her mother Mary Growden, who passed away on January 22nd, 2015.
