Passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the age of 83.

Beloved wife of the late Mel.

Loving mother of Christine (Jeff), Patrick and Michael (Cathy). Proud Granny of triplets Samuel, Benjamin and Matthew, as well as Kaitlin. Much loved aunt and godmother to Mary Ann.

Predeceased by brothers Alex, Bill and sister Needa. She will be joining her friend and fellow grandmother Fina in heaven.

Mary leaves behind many friends from Toronto and Noranda, Quebec.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff and volunteers at the Village of Humber Heights and West Park Long Term Care Centre for their extraordinary compassion and care.

A Service of Remembrance will be held in Toronto on Saturday, June 21st.

After a long, well-lived life, Frank died on June 12, 2014.

Adored husband of Anne, proud and loving dad to Franklyn (Gerald), grampa to Shannon and Graham, step- dad to Angela and Melanie. Survived by brother Everett (Ann), sister Marian, brother-in- law Cyril and many nieces and nephews.

Frank served in France, Holland and Germany with the Sherbrooke Fusiliers during WWII. Frank spent several years as a competitive skydiver but his greatest joy was time spent fishing, anywhere, any time, any weather.

From the Arctic to the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans and every lake in between.

His motto - catching fish is a bonus.

He made friends easily with people from all over the world and all walks of life.

Sincere thanks to the staff of Wellesley Central Place for the loving care Frank received over the last 7 years.

God bless you everyone. Our love and gratitude to Cetia, who cared for Frank with amazing love and devotion and we now consider her part of our family.

We will celebrate Frank's life on July 6, 2014 at 1 p.m. at The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 101, 3850 Lakeshore Blvd. W., Etobicoke.

She is now reunited with her late husband Owen James and children Catherine Anne and Andrew Edward.

Remembered by her 8 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Mallalieu_EuniceIt is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eunice A Mallalieu (nee Winthrope), 83, of Mississauga formerly of St Kitts, who died peacefully surrounded by her family on June 12, 2014, at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga.

Born August 23, 1930 in Antigua, West Indies. She is predeceased by her parents, Edward DeCambra and Inez Winthrope of Antigua.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years Patrick Mallalieu, and her children Jimmy Springer (Maryann), grandchildren Sharlene, Jessica & Christopher & great grandchildren Rishonna, Ryshawn, Rosie, Carol Springer of Antigua, Brian Springer (Jacqueline) and grandchildren Brenden and Justin, Trevor Mallalieu and Andrew Mallalieu, and siblings Ruth Ward, Roy DeCambra, Ralph Reynolds & Gerda Winthrope.

A Memorial Visitation will take place in Oakville on June 19th. The funeral service will be private.

Peggy died peacefully with her life partner, Leo Evason, by her side.

She will be missed by her relatives (Gerry) and friends, especially the Bradshaw family and Dorion and Steve, Cassandra, Rita and Roblyn Kingsmill Stuart.

Peggy was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario.

Peggy was a member of The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir and the Toronto Lawn and Tennis Club.

She spent many hours caring for the little lives of her cats.

A donation to the Humane Society would be appreciated.

A private service will take place at a later date.

Gordon passed away peacefully at Kingsway Retirement Residence surrounded by his family.

He will be missed by his loving wife of 65 years Margaret (Haslam) of Winnipeg and his children Donald (Gina), Ross (Laurie), Barbara (Warren), and Karen (Michael); brother David (Nancy) of Oshawa; sister Joyce (Frank) of California; sisters-in-law Hilda Haslam of Toronto, Joan Gray of Vancouver and his grandchildren Sarah, Joanna, Laura, James, Elizabeth, Andrew, Alison, Matthew, Ellen as well as many nieces and nephews and great-grandchildren.

Gordon lived a long full life, and will be missed by all who knew him. Gordon will be remembered for his deep love for his family, his remarkable business acumen, his integrity, his quiet generosity, sharp wit, good humour and infectious smile. He was an avid reader of history and loved to listen to both classical and big band music.

Gordon was born in Calgary and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, where he was a proud member of the Edmonton Schoolboys Band from 1941- 1942. He was awarded a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Alberta in 1947. After graduation he joined Great-West Life Insurance Company as a securities analyst in Winnipeg where his sons Donald and Ross were born.

In 1954, he joined the investment dealer firm Harris & Partners, and moved to Toronto where Karen and Barbara were born. In 1973 Gordon co-founded his own investment firm, McLean McCarthy and later, a second division McLeanco Realty. In 1988 McLean McCarthy was purchased by Deutsche Bank, and Gordon retired in 1991. Gordon was a longtime member of St. George's Golf and Country Club.

As a keen participant of both golf and curling, he also served on the Board of Directors. He enjoyed his beach condo in Fort Lauderdale for 26 years, where he was also a member of the Oak Tree Golf Club.

Service in Toronto on Tuesday, June 17th.

Passed away quietly on June 12, 2014 to be reunited with her husband Waldemar, her brother Eddi and her parents Adolfina (nee Reichart) and Edward Horn.

Cherished mother of Wolf and Fulvia.

Beloved Oma of Derek (Rosanna) and Richard (Valerie). Dear sister to Aldona Lincz (Joe), Sigi Horn (Edith - predeceased), Wally Horn (Helen) and treasured matriarch of her many nieces and nephews.

Born on October 25, 1929, Eli was forever proud of her loving family, an enthusiastic gardener, a compassionate neighbor.

She was happiest surrounded by her family. Retired Library Technician with the University of Toronto, dedicating more than 25 years to her passion of books. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, 8500 Islington Ave., Woodbridge on Monday, June 16, 2014.

Burial to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Humber River Regional Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.

It is with the deepest sadness we announce Wendy's passing in her 54th year on June 12, 2014 after a brief but valiant battle with cancer.

She died surrounded by family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.

She is predeceased by her parents Adella and John Ingram and her nephew Jamie.

Wendy leaves behind her husband Scott of 29 years, every day of which was marked by a "love you".

She is survived by our amazing, loving children Courtney Fetter (Adam) and Karlee Reid, as well as her wonderful sisters Lorene Simpson, Karen Ingram (Keith), Mary-Lynn Filipchuk (Randy), Dianne Ingram and her brother Richard Ingram (Cathy). Also survived by her treasured grandsons Roarke and Reid, as well as her loving mother-in-law Joan, sister-in-law Kim (Phil) and her father's wife Angela.

Wendy was an awesome aunt to Liane (Andrew), Lindy, Lori, John (Jennifer), Jason, Tam-Lynn, Colton, Brandi (Gavin), Ryan, Tyler and Michelle. She will be sorely missed by all of the extended family and the many friends she touched along the way with her unique style, love, kindness and sense of humour.

Many thanks to all of our family and friends who helped us and supported us through this time, along with the Lakeridge Health Oshawa oncology team and the incredible nurses and staff on the 6th floor of C wing.

As she wished, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.

Instead we will have an informal "drop in when you can" celebration of life on Sunday, June 22nd in Pickering, ON.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Parkinson Society Canada, Canadian Cancer Society , or Lakeridge Health Foundation - Cancer Care.

Wendy left us way too soon, but to the very end flashed her humour and love with all the strength she could muster.

One last time: "I love you Sweetie". We all do Kiddo, Muzzy, Tata, Sis, Cuz, Auntie. Our Love.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shia Salem on Thursday, June 12, 2014, peacefully at his home with his family at his side, at the age of seventy-five.

For forty-eight years, Shia was the devoted and cherished husband of Jocelyne (nee Belcourt). He was the loving father of Lisa and Andrew, father-in-law of Jonathan and Christina and grandfather of Rachel and Charlotte.

Shia was born in Windsor, Ontario, in 1939 and is survived by his brothers Harry and Ben. After completing his medical education in Kingston, an internship at St. Michael's Hospital (Toronto) and residencies at Ohio State University Hospital and Sunnybrook Medical Centre (Toronto), he began his career at the Henderson General Hospital (Hamilton) in 1969, before moving to Mount Sinai Hospital (Toronto) in 1987. Shia enjoyed a long and influential career in radiology and was one of Canada's leading experts in ultrasound.

Respected and admired for his exemplary leadership and dedication to excellence in obstetric ultrasound education, Shia has mentored several generations of residents, students and technicians and has truly left his mark on the profession.

Shia will be remembered for his contributions to Canadian radiology, his generous spirit and sense of humour and his devotion to his wife and family.

In loving memory of the strongest man we have ever known.

Al surpassed all predictions and valiantly fought until the very end when he passed at his home on Lake Simcoe. Most cherished husband for 52 years of Judith (nee Earl); treasured father of Allan (Madge) of Kingston and Lesli Ann (Larry) of Toronto; devoted grandfather of Adam, Jessica and Jeff. Al lived his life for his family and fought to stay with them as long as possible.

After successfully serving as Ryerson Press' youngest President, Al struck out on his own, founding AES Company - a successful Toronto advertising agency.

Special thanks to Dr. Zibdawi, Dr. Baguio and their teams; his CCAC/SRI nurses Sheila and Marilyn who worked wonders to ensure that he could remain at home.

A tribute to our wonderful husband, father and grandfather would be a donation made to Southlake Regional Stronach Cancer Centre or any women's shelter.

 A "Remembering Al" gathering will take place at his home at a later date.

"Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality."

Predeceased by her daughter Christine Louise (1953- 1973).

Dearest mother of Donald (Janet) of Orangeville, Robert (Kathleen) of Kenya, Blair (Louise) of Toronto, Scott (Anne) of Ottawa, Ellen (Rod Ryner) of Timmins, Peter (Carol Galioto) of Milton.

A fantastic nana to Eryn (Andrew), Andrew (Liza), Ethan (Sapna), Quentin (Michelle), Christine (Richard), Jonathan (Bryony), Alex (Jessica), Ian, Laura, David, Christine Ryner, Joshua and Alanna. Great- grandmother of Nina, Beth, Maeve, Grayden, Kai, Luke and one more expected soon in Ottawa.

A cherished sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend of many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Service will be held at Tweedsmuir Memorial Presbyterian Church, 6 John St., Orangeville, on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment Burns Cemetery, Mono Centre.

Master Warrant Officer; (Ret.) Royal Canadian Regiment; Past President, Korean Veteran's Association, Ontario Region, Unit 4, Wolseley Branch, London

A longtime resident of London, Ontario, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, K Wing, in his 82nd year.

Horace was a devoted, loving husband to his late wife Ada Jean.

He was predeceased by his parents Garfield and Gwendolyn, and his brother Garry (Dorothy). His gentle manner and beautiful smile will be greatly missed by his brothers Burt (Betty), Raymond (Sandra) and his sister Margaret (Laurence). He will be remembered fondly by his nieces, nephew and friends.

We are grateful for the wonderful care provided for Horace by the staff at Victoria Hospital, London and Sunnybrook Veterans Centre, Toronto.

A special thank you to Janet Ifaburruyi. Cremation has taken place.

A private memorial will be held in Toronto followed by interment.
