Max Wirth, beloved husband of 58 happy years to Margaret (nee Love) of Port Perry.

Predeceased by his brother Jakob Wirth and his sister Marianne Scola-Wirth both of Switzerland.

He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews in Canada, Switzerland, England, Scotland and the Dominican Republic.

The family of Max Wirth will receive friends at the Wagg Funeral Home, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry, Ontario on Saturday, July 4th from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. A Service to Celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m.

If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation or the Lakeridge Health Foundation.

Passed away peacefully at Tall Pines Long Term Care, Brampton, on June 27, 2015 in his 96th year.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Louise (2010), his parents William and Catherine, 10 siblings and his granddaughter Claire. Loving father to Michael (Elaine), David (Lynn), Peter (Margaret), Terry (Julie) and Anita (Steve).

Survived by one brother Frank. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Church, 66A Main Street South, Brampton, followed by a reception at The Royal Canadian Legion, 80 Mary Street, Brampton.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ontario Lung Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Went to be with God and to reunite with her beloved husband Jim at 4:23 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Humber River Hospital, Finch site, Toronto, after fighting an infection.

Born in Inverness, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Vivian was the youngest of 10 children. She is survived by older sister Muriel MacKenzie and older brother Rev. Russell Smith, 6 children, 8 grandchildren, 4 great- grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She met her husband James at Bloor Street United Church in Toronto. They were married on May 7, 1955 and soon moved to rural Markham where they raised their family: Glenn, Paul (Edwina), Bruce (Cecilia), Brent (Linda), Kevin (Lynda) and Heather Schmidt (Lee). Vivian will be sorely missed by her grandchildren: Lynn (Mark), Daniel (Jessica), Matthew (Sarah), Danielle (Phil), Simone, Luke, Daniel and Gabriel and her great- grandchildren: Natalie, Alec, Maddison and Sophie. Vivian's cherry pie, pumpkin pie, cookies, cakes and warm smile best epitomized her innate sense of hospitality. Some 20 years ago, she and Jim moved to the peaceful hamlet of Cedar Valley, where they were faithful members of Vivian Baptist Church for over a decade.

She struggled with several health issues over the years, but she will always be affectionately remembered as a woman of deep faith, love, caring, generosity, determination and compassion.
