Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Bridgepoint Health Centre.

Cyndy is survived by her mother Shirley Miller, sister Catherine Richardson (Paul), her niece Erin and brother Dr. John Brown. She will be greatly missed by her relatives, friends and co-workers at Jones DesLauriers Insurance.

The family would like to express their thanks to the staff and friends who were by her side the week before her passing.

A Funeral Service will take place in Toronto, on Wednesday, September 24th.

Predeceased by Mae (Wingfield) 2012, his loving wife of 58 years.

Dear father of Donna and John Kingsmill, Gary Milton, Peter and Cathy Milton, Cecilia and Dan Wheeler, Jamie and Ruth Milton, Jeffery Milton, and the late Matthew Milton.

Loving Grandpa of 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren with two more on the way.

Brother of the late Joseph (Lois), the late Bernice (late Phil Blaney), the late Jack (Jessie), Charles (late Betty) and Margaret (Ray Blaney).

Donald was very well respected, valued and loved by all whom he crossed paths with. He was active in his church community and served with pride with the Knights of Columbus. He spent many happy hours playing euchre with good friends. He was a conscientious farmer and was always on the look-out for 'treasures' to add to his vast inventory.

Donald's greatest love and pride was his family often saying, "Family comes first."

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be at St Joseph, Patron of Canada, Catholic Church, Acton, Wednesday, September 24th at 11 a.m. Cremation and interment will be at a later date.

Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.

Rosie passed away suddenly at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday September 15, 2014 at the age of 51.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Ken and Mary Sanders.

Rosie enjoyed crafts such as beading and rug hooking often giving finished projects to friends and family. She spent many happy summers at the cottage on Lake Kashawakamak.

She enjoyed nature and feeding chickadees sunflower seeds from her hand at the local conservation area. Later at Extendicare she always had a stash of special treats for Midnight the cat.

She will be truly missed by her Aunts Jean Batherson (Larry), Anne Pankiw, Elsie Panko, and Sally Metropolyt, by Neville and Fran Burroughs and by her many cousins and their families.

Thanks to the staff at Extendicare on Park Road North first floor who always treated Rosie with respect and love.

Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa.

A Memorial Service will be held on  Tuesday October 7 at 11.00am.   

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the time of the service. Inurnment is at Union Cemetery in Oshawa.

Loving father of Enrica (Pasquale Chieffallo), Francesco (Colomba) and John (Maria). Predeceased by daughter-in-law, Patricia Joan Air and grandson, Rosario Francesco.

Adoring grandfather of Alfio (Linda), Jessica, Danny (Daniela), Michael, Carmela (Steve), Vittoria, Mark and Pamela. Loving great- grandfather to Matteo, Ava, Alessandro and Abbey Rose. The family wishes to express their sincerest gratitude to sisters- in-law, Maria, Elizabeth, Mafalda, Rosina and the thoughts and prayers of brother-in-law, Giacomo.

Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in 1942, immigrating to Canada with her parents in 1955.

A keen summer cottager on Lake Rosseau, Muskoka, while enjoying winters in Palm Beach Shores, Florida.

Born in Latvia on March 14, 1932. She had the mind and soul of a 50 year old. Tamara passed away peacefully at the Oakville Senior Citizens Residence. She was with me for my first breath, I was there for her last.

Heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the OSCR. Without all of you the weight on our shoulders would have been much heavier. She talked about the Staff daily and how great each of you were.

Tamara battled cancer for two years but unfortunately lost the fight. I truly loved you with all my heart, as I know you did mine. I will miss you every day. God bless you.

Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, September 20, 2014 in her 88th year.

Loving sister of Lois Bailey and her husband Douglas; predeceased by her parents Bert and Bella and her brothers Roy and Ross; special aunt of Leanne Ament (Joe), Spencer Close, Clinton Close, Zachary Ament, Luka Ament and Trevor Dunn. Gladys will be missed by other relatives and friends.  

Funeral service will be held in Orangeville on Wednesday September 24th.

Memorial donations in memory of Gladys may be made to Headwaters Health Care Foundation or Knox United Church.

HARRIS, Daisy (nee Braisby) -

Harris_DaisyHeaven's flowers will be beautifully arranged now that Daisy has come home. Peacefully, in her 93rd year in Georgetown, on September 20, 2014.

Beloved wife of the late Robert Harris, loving mother of Robert and Kevin (2003). Grandmother to Mike, Chris (Ruth), Paul and Matthew (Angela) and nine great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by her sister Margaret and brother Bill. Cherished aunt, friend and teacher to many.

Funeral service will be held in Georgetown on Wednesday, September 24th. Interment.

In memory contributions to the Georgetown Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
