Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on March 29, 2015, just days after her 81st birthday.

Wife of Kurt for 54 years.

Loving mother of Tim, Walter ("Bo") and Michelle Schaerf (Peter). Cherished grandma of Cassidy, Alex, Ryan and Christina. Celine was born and grew up in Georgetown, Guyana before moving to Canada where she met Kurt and raised their family.

She will always be remembered for her welcoming home. Celine will be sadly missed by numerous friends and extended family across Canada and the United States, including her surviving siblings Eddie and Pauline.

Celine was a member of the YMCA (Scarborough) where she had many special friends who gave her great joy and strength on her journey of life.

The family will be forever grateful to the staff at Sunnybrook and Port Perry Hospitals for their care.

At Celine's request, a celebration of life will be held this summer (she hated winter.

Passed peacefully on Sunday, March 29th, 2015 at the Trenton Memorial Hospital, age 80 years.

Alberta Annable of Brighton, daughter of the late Clifford Schwalm and the late Norma (Wiles). Beloved wife of the late Thomas Michael Annable.

Loving mother of Mark Annable and his wife Joan of Barrie, Michael Annable and his wife Belinda of Pickering, and Pat Raccinelli and his wife Jeanne of Shelburne.

sister of Lucile Westbrooke of Brighton, and the late John Schwalm.

Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Jennifer, Sara, Mike, Jessica, great grandchildren, Brian Kali, Lucy, Ruby, and her nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will take place in Brighton on Sunday, April 12th. Cremation with interment Toronto.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated by the family.

Loretta passed away peacefully at Lanark Lodge, Perth, on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the age of 80 years.

She was the beloved wife of Terry Brooks and cherished mother of John (Elizabeth Rush), Patrick (Allison Presley), Martha (Kevin McKay), Terry (Nora Fitzgerald), Sarah (David Burtnick) Edward (Michelle Topic) and Matthew Brooks. Loretta will be lovingly remembered by her twenty grandchildren. Loretta was one of eleven children of the late William and Eva (O'Neill) Masterson.

She will be sadly missed by her siblings Sister Marjorie Masterson, St. Joseph Nun, Sheila Masterson, Karon Grantham, Brother John Masterson, Jesuits Society and Francis (Allan McDonald).

Loretta was predeceased by William, Evelene, Leonard (Theresa), Stewart (Anne), Helen (Dan Koob) and Mark Grantham.

Loretta always appreciated the love, friendship and support of Terry's siblings and their families. The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Lanark Lodge for the respect, love and care with which they treated Loretta. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John's Church, Perth, on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.

In remembrance of Loretta, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Lanark County would be appreciated.

Irene will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.

At Irene's request, a private service will take place and a Celebration of her life will be held at the Village of Humber Heights.

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Hospital, Oshawa, on March 29th, 2015 at the age of 90.

Marge, a World War II veteran, was predeceased by her husband, Harry Cook, and her son Paul Cook and subsequently immigrated from England to Canada over 30 years ago, residing in Oshawa on Grenfell Street and then moving to Faith Place.

Auntie Marge will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews and their families in England and Australia and by her Canadian family – sister Patricia Hircock, niece Melody Barry (Bev), niece Barbara Brown (Ray), nephew Robert Reid, nephew Dan Reid (Carol), nephew Desmond Hircock and a large number of great and great-great nieces and nephews who she treated like her grandchildren.

Marge’s family appreciates the care and kindness shown by the staff at Community Nursing Home in Pickering and the Wynfield LTC Facility in Oshawa.

Also, the family’s heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Lakeridge Hospital Emergency Ward during her final days.

A family gathering will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, April 2nd, 2015 from 12:30 pm with a service to follow in the chapel at 2:30 pm.

Born in Uxbridge, ON, Howard was a retired Engineer with Gulf Oil Canada.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his children Wayne (Natali) Feasby and Beverley Lynn (Eric) Gilbert and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Lexington, KY. Burial will follow in Dayton, OH.

Marion died peacefully after suffering the effects of several recent severe strokes and a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease. 

She was the loving only child of Clayton and Cecilia Rutt and later of Clayton’s second wife Thelda. 

Also pre-deceased by her dear  husband Cecil - she was his cherished “Maggie” - her loss will be mourned by her children, Bryan (Cheryl), Jim (Donna), Barb (Art) and

and Jeff (Sarah), grandchildren Lynda, Andy, Michael, Jason and Crystal and by 7 great-grandchildren.  Marion will also be greatly missed by her extended family and friends, some going back to her childhood, and some made recently at Hillsdale Estates where where she was cared for with such skill and tenderness.

Flowers are respectfully declined, but donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society, would be much appreciated. 

Cremation has already taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service time.

Peacefully passed away on March 29, 2015, in his 90th year at Craiglee Nursing Home.

Jack was the beloved husband of 54 years of the late Pauline.

Dear father of Karen, Pam (Ted) Carnrite, Cheryl (Bruce) Hotrum and Scott. Adored Papa to grandchildren Ted (Christina) and Shelly Carnrite, Lauren (Brian McKellar), Geoff and Kelly Hotrum and Stephanie (Jacob) Mount and Mitchell Harder, as well as great- grandfather of four.

Jack was a 36-year employee of Scarborough Public Utilities/ Water, a WWII Veteran and a 65-year member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 13.

He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all his family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held in Scarborough, on Thursday April 2nd.

Kathy will be sorely missed by her aunts, uncles, special nephew Jarrett, her colleagues at Ernst & Young and her many good friends.

Services are being held privately for the family.

Predeceased by loving sister-in-law, Ruth. Deeply loved aunt of Susan (Bruce) Bacon, Heather (Jeremy) Karram and Graeme (Carina) Johnson. Great- aunt to nine great-nieces and nephews.

She fervently prayed for many people including her family for which she will be deeply missed.

She was a strong supporter of worldwide gospel missions and Tyndale University College and Seminary, Toronto, of which she was an evening graduate.

She leaves behind a legacy of 93 years well-lived for her Lord.

A graveside family committal service has taken.

Passed away on her 75th birthday, March 29, 2015 at Toronto General Hospital.

Predeceased by her loving husband John, Super-Mom of Bradley and Tania, beloved Oma of Madeleine, Paz, Emily and Ruby. Remembered and missed by family and friends.

Elsie resided at the O'Neill Centre long-term care facility. Many thanks to the loving staff who cared for her there.

For many years Elsie taught elementary school in Toronto and being a loyal book lover continued to volunteer at Milne Valley Middle School long after she retired. She touched many lives with her eternal patience, support and fabulous cooking.

She will be survived by the beautiful garden that she loved and nurtured for over 30 years behind our former house in Victoria Village.

 Visitation will take place from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1st at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E. (between Pharmacy and Warden).

Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m.
