Devoted brother to Stefan (Mila) and Mike.

Uncle to Chris Legard and Chris Juricki (Madielyn).

Valued employee at Pioneer for 27 years, his presence will be missed in the lunch room.

Visitation will be held at the family home on October 25, 2014 from 2 - 5 p.m.

God called Iolanda on the 17th of October, 2014.

Iolanda was deeply devoted to her faith, her family and her friends.

Predeceased by her husband Romeo, she leaves behind her beloved children: Isidoro (Valerie), Elda (Luciano) and Carla (Steve). She will always be affectionately remembered as 'nonna' by her grandchildren: Daniele (Sabrina), Stefano, Sandro (Lori), Lia (Seirge) and Marco and by her great- grandchildren: Alessio, Valerio and Sienna.

The family wishes to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff of the Dialysis Clinic located at Humber River Hospital for their professional and compassionate care over the last 6 years.

We also wish to express a sincere expression of gratitude to the caring staff at Leisureworld Norfinch.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 49 George St., Weston, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 20, 2014. Burial will follow.

After a hard-fought battle with cancer, Randy passed peacefully on Friday, October 17, 2014, surrounded by his loving friends.

Randy is predeceased by his parents Maurice and Shirley. Randy’s tenacious spirit and humour will be missed by his many friends and family.

Randy was a skilled tradesman and landscaper. Only few got to see the kindness in him that cared for his ailing mother, adored his dog Boots and never complained or felt sorry for himself.

A memorial service will be held in Milton on Saturday, October 25th.

Born in Graigue, Co. Laois, Ireland, September 22, 1937 and passed away peacefully in his 77th year at Runnymede Healthcare Centre in the presence of his family on Friday, October 17, 2014.

Last surviving member of his immediate family, including sisters Kathleen Moyles, Marion Zunda, Delia Scott and Anne Phelan and brothers Isaac, Sonny and James.

Devoted husband to Theresa Josephine for 52 years and loving father of Tom (Sylvie), Mary (Kevin), Michael (Lindsay), Anne (Sean) and Jim (Renee). Cherished grandfather to Martin, Ciara, Maureen, Ciaron, Sinead, Colleen, Emily, Michael, Lauren, Julia and Brian. He will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews in Ireland and Canada.

Mike will be remembered for his years of dedication, hard work and contributions to the Irish community in Toronto.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 20th at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, 1415 Royal York Rd., at 10:30 a.m., with burial to follow.

Gerry was an active member and past president of the Danube Seniors' Centre in Bradford, past president of the Aurora Lions Club and was retired after a full career at the TTC, Grey Coach and GO Transit.

Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa St., Bradford, on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 2 p.m., followed by cremation.

It is with profound sadness but also with an air of celebration for a life well lived that we announce Danny’s passing in his 80th year on October 17, 2014 after a lengthy battle with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson’s.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Schankula, two children, Daniel (Jennifer) of St. Catharines and Lisa (Robyn Fosbury) of Toronto, and four granddaughters, Laura, Natalie, Eva and Chloe Trabucco.

Also survived by his sister Georgina (the late Anthony) Mosker, brother-in-law Henry Schankula and sister-in-law Victoria Schankula, and seven nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by an infant son, Jeffrey, parents Joseph and Antonia (Rachello) Trabucco, and in-laws Henry and Elisabeth (Eichhorn) Schankula.

Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Danny grew up in the family woodworking and retail business, Glenview Hardware, in Silvertown. Danny founded The Niagara Artcraft Woodwork Co. Ltd. (Artcraft Kitchens) in 1961. He pioneered the manufacture of European frameless cabinetry in North America. In 1970, he participated in a Canada Trade Mission to Europe and has continued to lead the industry in process and product development, earning him the 2011 National Kitchen and Bath Association Hall of Fame Award for his achievements in manufacturing innovation.

He was a founding member of the Canadian Kitchen Cabinet Association (CKCA), and a long-time member of the Niagara Home Builders Association (NHBA), and the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). One of Danny’s proudest moments came when he won the Niagara Entrepreneur of Year Award, in the Family Business category, in 1999.

Danny was a kind soul who loved life and led by example. He loved to dance, laugh at his own jokes, and tell stories, especially about his childhood and the neighbourhood in which he grew up. He will be missed by many friends and business associates.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Niagara Falls. The Rite of Committal will follow.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Johanne Marie Dalton on Thursday, October 16, 2014.

Beloved wife of the late Major Tony (J. A.) Dalton and daughter of the late Harry S. and Ann W. Mulvale.

Beloved mother of Michael Dalton (Yvonne) and adoring grandmother of Evan. Survived by her sister Frances Tingle (Joseph), brothers Harry (Ann) and William (Julie) and sister Theresa; predeceased by her sister Lynne Burke. Johanne leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, many of whom will always remember her as "The Ladybug Lady" thanks to the chocolate ladybugs.

Johanne was a teacher with the Dufferin-Peel Catholic School Board and built countless longterm relationships with many of her colleagues.

 A member of the Retired Women Teachers of Ontario (RWTO), Johanne was particularly fond of the many social activities and was very involved in numerous charity events and particularly proud of her involvement in working on the PENTA events.

Her son Michael, as well as all of Johanne's family, are deeply appreciative of the care provided to her in the oncology unit at Credit Valley Hospital, under the compassionate guidance of Dr. Kagan, the nursing team and the support staff.

Helen will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was a hair and style specialist for many years while residing in Toronto. Helen was a longtime parishoner at Holy Rosary Church.

Jean was the only child of Harry and Mabel Elliott of Inglewood, Ontario.

Lifelong resident of Brampton, Ontario. Retired from Blain's Hardware after many years of dedicated service. Jean also assisted whenever available at the Brampton Golf and Curling Club as a waitress.

She was recognized by the Canadian Red Cross Society as a generous blood donor. Longtime friend of Jim Poulimenous and his family.

Service will be held in Brampton, on Tuesday, October 21st.

It is with great sadness that the family of Joyce Goldson announces her passing at the age of 89 after a lengthy illness with Alzheimer's.

Born on December 17, 1924 in Kingston, Jamaica, she was the daughter of the late Robinson Cass Forbes and the late Florence Ingle Forbes.

Her husband Kenneth Goldson, son Kerry Goldson, brother Dr. Ronald Forbes and sister, Gloria Boxer Pinto, predeceased her.

She will be cherished and forever remembered by her son Derek Goldson (wife Bernice), daughter Judy Johnston (husband Buster), sister Monica Taylor, sister-in-law Peggy Forbes, eight grandchildren (Davon, Natalie, Bradley, Melissa, Cindy-Ann, Martin, Darryl, Justin) and 12 great grandchildren (Colton, Malcolm, Wyatt, Keri-Ann, Isaiah, Destiny, Darnell, Avery, Marcus, Rowynne, Naiya, Mosiyah). She is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.

With gratitude, the family would like to particularly thank the staff at Extendicare Halton Hills in Georgetown for the wonderful care she received for the last two years of her remarkable life.

Peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Wesburn Manor at the age of 84.

Survived by her husband Art (separated); sons Charlie (Judy), William (Teri), Ross (Palma) and Norm (Caroline); grandchildren Stacey (Jim), Jason (Cara), Jennifer (Fiona), Steven and Pauline; great- grandchildren Clara and Mackenzie.

 Mona was born and raised in Newfoundland where some of her family still live.

She worked in nursing when she was younger and moved to Toronto where she continued nursing and then started her family.

Mona was known for good conversation and her ability to make everyone in the room laugh. She will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Wesburn Manor for their dedicated care.

Service will be held in Brampton, on Thursday, October 23rd.

JARVIS, Shirley Jean (nee Barker) -

Jarvis_ShirleyPeacefully passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Thursday, October 16th, 2014 with her family by her side.

Beloved wife of the late Wayne.

Loving companion of Frank.

Cherished mother of Tina, Kathy (Randy) and Jenny. Dear grandmother of Justin (Sydelle), Stephanie, Danielle, Andrew (Penni-Anne) and great-grandma of Jive, Dyzen, Nalyah, Rowan and Cade.

Dear sister of Betty (Don), Ross (Iva), Gord (Patsy), Ralph (Bev), Ken (May), Fred (the late Judy), Clarence (Pat), and the late Doug.

Predeceased by her parents, the late Eldon & Evelyn Barker.

Beloved sister-in-law of Coleen & James and Dan & Carol. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and Frank’s family, Denise (Trevor), Rochelle (Greg), Crystal, Carly and Jessica.

A Memorial Service will be held at the ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION #52, 1550 Lansdowne St. W., Peterborough on Tuesday, October 21st at 1 pm. 

Arrangements entrusted to the NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Hospital for Sick Children or Durham Region Humane Society.

Peacefully at Dorothy Ley Hospice with family by his side on Thursday, October 16, 2014 in his 90th year.

Beloved husband of the late Zina (2002).

Loving father of Susan, Barbara, Christine, Edward, John, their spouses and their families.

Proud grandfather to three granddaughters, seven grandsons and one great-granddaughter. 

Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Polish Church, 1996 Davenport Rd., Toronto on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11 a.m.

KADING, Elizabeth Vera (Berry) (nee RICHARDSON) -

Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the age of 79.

Beloved wife of Ronald Kading; dear mother of Lynn Robertson (David), Teri Jewett and Michelle Bond (Paul); step-mother of Brian Kading (Karen); cherished grandmother of Zachary, Calen, Breanne, Cole, Evan, Connor, Matthew, Breanne, Tyler and Kendra; remembered by her sisters Lynn (George), Tish (Stephen); predeceased by her brothers Jack and Fred.

Elizabeth will be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.  

Funeral Service will be held in Orangeville on Wednesday, October 22nd.

Memorial donations to St. Mark's Anglican Church, Orangeville, would be appreciated by the family.

KEIGHLEY, S/Sgt. Terry -

Suddenly, at Credit Valley Hospital, on Thursday, October 16, 2014, at the age of 72.

Terry was the proud father of his three children: Taija Keighley, Kati Keighley and Christian Keighley.

Terry was born in Brantford, Ontario.

He was a graduate of the University of Toronto and a proud Veteran Member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

He will be forever in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Mississauga on Thursday, October 23rd.
