Loving grandfather of Matthew and Thomas.

Brother-in-law of Richard, Sandra, Mary, Thomas, Sharon, Gordon & Robert and the late Shirley, Harry, Edward & Margaret.

A funeral service will be held at the Heritage Baptist Church, Ardagh Road in Barrie on Tuesday, March 31st at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial has taken place in Brampton.

As an expression of sympathy donations to the Gospel for Asia or to the Heritage Baptist Church (Mortgage Fund).

It is with great sadness that the family of Norman Lenard Churcher announces his passing on March 20, 2015 at the age of 96 in Lindsay, Ontario.

A Veteran of the Second World War and a former Grand Master at the Scarborough Masonic Lodge (No. 653).

Lovingly remembered by his wife Molly and his children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his first wife June, parents Bertie and Rosetta Churcher and his siblings.

A celebration of Norman's life will be held this summer.

Mrs. DeMarco was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, a member of St. Alfred's Parish and a resident of St. Catharines for 60 years.

Mrs. DeMarco is at the BUTLER FUNERAL HOME, 424 Niagara St. (south of Scott), St. Catharines where the family will receive friends on Wednesday from 9 - 10:30 a.m.

Funeral Liturgy will be held at ST. ALFRED'S PARISH, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, March 25th at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Committal.

John Dudgeon, lover of family, friends, music and travel was revered by those who had the pleasure to know him. He left the world a better place by making the people around him happy.

John died peacefully Friday, March 20, 2015 at Milton District Hospital surrounded by close family. He was 72.

John is survived by his wife of 44 years, Helena; his sons Michael (Linda), Christopher (Margot) and Ryan (Ashley). He is missed by granddaughters Loren, Isabel, Morgan, Gabriela and by his sister Joan.

He was born in Orangeville and grew up in Parkdale of Toronto before moving and raising a family in the west end of the GTA.

Our sincere thanks go to the excellent medical staff at Credit Valley and Milton District hospitals for the fine care he received.

Visitation will be held at J. Scott Early Funeral Home, 21 James Street, Milton (905) 878-2669 on Wednesday, March 25 from 2 - 6 p.m. to celebrate John's life. A service of remembrance will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Pat Van Horne and Graeme Elliott are profoundly sad to announce that our beloved son, Andrew, died suddenly on March 20, 2015, just a few hours into the first day of Spring.

He was 31.

Andrew had many gifts but suffered for years from the effects of addiction and mental illness. He is survived by us, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada, the United States and Japan. Andrew maintained some lifelong friendships, people who stuck by him through good times and bad.

He is also survived by a very special friend, Tiffany, who made his world a brighter place. We are heartbroken.

Friends are invited to share memories of Andrew on Thursday, March 26th, between 3 and 5 p.m. at Peoples Eatery, 307 Spadina Avenue, Toronto.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Vincenzo Gasparro in the loving presence of his family on March 20, 2015, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Sannicandro, Italy on March 2, 1938, he is predeceased by his parents Pasquale and Lucia Gasparro. Vincenzo leaves behind his beloved wife Santina of 48 years.

He was a devoted son and a sentimental husband who never missed an occasion to gift his wife with flowers.

A humble man who lived simply and cared passionately. He was happiest amongst family or serving clientele at his true joy, Vince Gasparro's Meats on Bloor Street. Having started the business over 45 years ago, he quickly became a successful entrepreneur and proudly passed down the business to his two sons. Vincenzo was a model of generosity, being a supportive and loving father to Pasquale, Nicola and Lucia, cherished grandfather to Amanda, Martina, Mia and Ava, whom he adored. He will be greatly missed by friends and family.

Of his own life he said, "My hope is that I shall have done more good than bad for people."

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere east of the Jane subway from 6-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Gordon Lloyd Heard.

Beloved husband of Jean for 48 years.  Loving father to Jeff (Marla) and Wendy (Ron). Cherished Poppa to Morgan and Taiya.

Brother to Yvonne Johnson. Gordon will be missed by Jean's sister and brothers, his nieces, nephews and their families, as well as the congregation at Lighthouse Baptist Church.

He retired from General Motors in 1994, after 35 years of service. He then spent the majority of his time outdoors taking care of his yard and gardening.

The last few years kept him busy watching the growth of the neighbourhood and meeting new neighbours.  Most of all, Gordon enjoyed working around the house he built and lived in, as well as labouring for the Lord.

Resting at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway 2, Courtice, 905-432-8484, with visitation on Sunday, March 22nd from 4:00 to 8:00 and funeral service on Monday, March 23rd at 11:00am.

Our family regrets to announce the end of Noreen's long and rich life, after years of deteriorating health.

Wife to the late Alec Hingston and predeceased by her brothers Melville, Norm (Doreen) and Earl (Ruby) James.

Beloved mother to Brian (June), Wayne (Sylvia), Ron (Amie) and Carol. Cherished grandmother to Andrew (Michelle), Melissa (Chris), Amy (Peter); Julia (David) and Jennifer; Sean and Dionne (Andrew); and great- grandmother to Galen, Faelen and Aengus; Abigail and Liam; Mea and Ethan.

Noreen was dedicated to the success of all members of her family and friends. Her humble, rural beginnings made her determined, frugal and willing to sacrifice for others. She instilled honesty, a strong work ethic and perseverance in the face of adversity that prepared her family for life.

Service will be held in Uxbridge, on Sunday, March 22nd.

Holko_PaulinaPeacefully with her children by her side, one day after her 96th birthday, Paulina Josephina Holko passed away at Creek Way Village on Friday, March 20, 2015.

Predeceased by her loving husband John (2000).

Cherished mother to her only son Edward and his wife Marjorie. Loving Babcia to Tamara and Kimberley, step-Babcia to Michael and Amy and great-Babcia to nine great-grandchildren.

Paulina was an avid gardener with a green thumb that could grow just about anything. Whether it was from a seed, a pit, or a spent flower, everything she touched flourished.

A special heartfelt thank you to the staff at Creek Way Village. Thank you seems inadequate, your loving care and compassion will never be forgotten. Paulina was treated like family. Forever etched in our mind and hearts is the beautiful and heartwarming exit of the building being draped with the Quilt of Dignity.
