Passed away suddenly at his home on December 8th 2014 in his 62nd year.

Kenny, beloved son of Doris and Rocky. Beloved brother of Robin (Daryl), Dougie (Karen), Donna, Brian (predeceased) and Diane (Rui). Dear Uncle of 10 nieces and nephews and Great Uncle to 13 nieces and nephews.

Kenny will be dearly missed by his longtime friends Kenny Tahir and Alan McNeil.

Family and friends will be received at the GIFFEN-MACK DANFORTH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE (2570 Danforth Ave, Directly beside Main Subway Station) for Visitation on Thursday, December 11th from 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 p.m.

A Service will be held in the GIFFEN-MACK CHAPEL on Friday, December 12th, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Cremation to Follow.

Loving grandmother of Shawn, Nicole, and Jennifer. 

Service will be held in Port Perry, on Monday, December 15th.  Interment, Prince Albert.

It is with great sadness that the children of Gerrie Burnett announce her peaceful passing, while in the comfort of her own home and surrounded by her children - on Sunday, December 7, 2014, at the young age of 66.

Gerrie will be lovingly remembered by her children, Nicole and Daniel, grandchildren Jacob Makai and Kylie Grace and son-in-law Benjamin. Gerrie will also be fondly remembered by her mother Jackie Ames, siblings, Rose, Kathy, Josephine, Tony, Mike and Joseph.

Gerrie was predeceased by her father William and brother Jimmy.

Service will be held in Scarborough, on Friday, December 12th.

Passed away surrounded by family on December 7, 2014 at the age of 70.

God has called her home. She will be remembered by her husband Gilbert and her children Marc (Tiina), Sophia (Jeff), Barrington (Daisy), Tom (Shelley), Paul (Heather) and Jennifer (Robert) and 16 grandchildren. Mother, grandmother, wife and friend to all who knew her. Lorette held an unshakable faith in God and devoted her life to His service. A light has gone from our world, however, Heaven is brighter for her presence.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 44 Church St. E., Brampton, on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 10:30 a.m.

Loving father of Eric (Bobbie), Patricia (the late Tony Reda), Wayne (Diane), Karen Pennington, Susan Hand (Cliff).

Dear brother of Dell Canning. Loved greatly by his many grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Jimmy served in Europe during World War II in the 86th Bridge Co.

In his later years, he focused on his poetry under the pen name "Spokeshave" and had dozens of his poems published in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. 

Funeral Service will be held in Toronto, on Friday, December 12th.

Daciuk_MykolaPeacefully, in his 91st year, Nick passed away with his family by his side on Sunday, December 7th, 2014.

Beloved husband to Anna whom he was married to for 69 years, cherished father to his daughter Marika and son Peter and wife Darlene. Grandfather to 3 grandchildren who were his pride and joy.   John Daciuk (Shannon), Michael Daciuk (Heather), Katherine Henneke(nee Daciuk) (Mathew). Great Grandfather to Caiden, Haven, Caleb, Lucas and Kale.

Nick and Anna arrived in Canada in 1948 and began a new life in Val D’Or, Toronto and Whitby after the war. He worked various jobs to make ends meet and retired from General Motors after 33 years of service. He had a love of fishing, family and gardening. He was a true, unselfish man who would do anything for anyone, anytime.

 He was a faithful member of ST. GEORGE THE GREAT MARTYR UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH. He and Anna sang for many years in the Trembita Choir.

The family would like to thank all the support workers- Marianna, Shar, Sabrina and Sheryl- who made his last year at home comfortable and honoured his wishes.

Visitation will take place at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124King St. E., Oshawa) on Wednesday December 10, from 2-4 and 7-9pm, Panachyda at 7:30pm.

Funeral mass to be held at 10 am on Thursday, December 11 at St. George’s Ukrainian Parish, followed by burial at St. Wolodymyr and St. Olha Ukrainian Cemetery.
