She passed peacefully in her sleep at her nursing home in Toronto.
As a longtime primary school teacher at Gledhill Public School, Ruth touched the lives of many students and staff and enjoyed spending much of the early years of her retirement travelling the world.

She was a cherished wife, devoted mother, beloved grandmother, and treasured friend.
Victoria was preceded in death by her beloved husband (Nickolas); her dear brothers (Alec, George, and Bill); parents (Olympia and Todor); and lifelong friends (Germaine and Florence).
