In her 89th year of Guelph, Ontario, died peacefully on Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Guelph General Hospital.

Marcia was the beloved wife of the late Patrick John (November 3, 2012).

Marcia was born June 22, 1927 in Arthur, Ontario the cherished daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Malone (McEllistrum). She was the loving mother of Edward (Liz) of London; Anne (Robb Atkinson); Brian (Norina); Frank (Paula Carere); Theresa (Tom Jefferson); Dennis (Donna); Kathy (Bob Bruder); Patrick (Barb); Mike (Barb) and John (Maggie) and loved mother-in-law of Teresa and Cynthia all of Guelph, and very dear grandmother of 31 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Ken Malone of Ottawa and sister-in-law of Edward Hale of Harriston; Margaret Morris of Fergus. Helma Mayne of Elmira and Mary Lou Armstrong of Kitchener. Predeceased by siblings Gladys O'Dwyer (late Peter) of Mount Forest and Eileen Hale of Harriston. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews; great nieces and great nephews who survive Aunt Marcia.

Marcia was raised in Arthur, Ontario. Throughout high school and beyond she worked as both a telephone operator and manager. A few years later she met Patrick, an aspiring young law student from Drayton. She married Patrick on October 29, 1949. For the first few years of marriage they lived in Kitchener, but eventually settled in Guelph in 1954. Marcia went on to enjoy 63 years of wonderful marriage to Patrick and celebrated the birth of 3 daughters, 7 sons, 31 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Marcia was a long standing member of the Catholic Women's League at Holy Rosary Church. Always witty and a great conversationalist, Marcia enjoyed the company of others and made many friends during her lifetime. Marcia enjoyed sports and in her later years found time to learn the game of golf. This became her favourite pastime. She spent many years as a member of the Guelph Country Club, even winning the Ladies 9 Hole Championship several times. Marcia will join Patrick, leaving a wonderful legacy to her family; one of faith, resilience and gratitude.

Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, Ontario, (Wednesday, September 2, 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, September 3, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.). Funeral on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma Street, Guelph, Ontario, for Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Vigil for Marcia on Thursday evening at 8:00 p.m.

Betty is survived by her niece Sheryle Runhart and nephews Andrew, Craig and Jeffrey Gray and their families, sisters-in-law Dee Gray and Eva Mary Gray, and brother-in-law Trevor Paquin. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Lorraine (2011), brothers John (2006) and Harvey (1998).

At Betty's request, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held. She will be greatly missed by her many treasured friends. Arrangements out of Stratford.

Silvia is survived by her loving sons, John Liuba (Georgina) and Tibi Liuba (Mary). Proud Grandma of Nick (Sarah) Liuba, Corinna (Alex) Rigueluie, Adina (Karl) Ritzmann, Marian (Vito) Amello, Lidia (Michael) Tagliabracci, Sylvia (Michael) Liuba, and Monica (Ryan) Selvadurai. Loving Great-Grandma of Taylor, Gabriel, Tyson, Riley, Rachel, Noah, Angelina, Ashley and Victor.

She was welcomed in Heaven by her grandsons, Marcus and Landon.

Silvia is predeceased by her parents, Vasila and Persa Linka, her brothers, John and Victor and sisters Persida and Ana.

Silvia and Ilia immigrated to Canada with their boys in 1961, making their home in Kitchener. A lifelong member of the Apostolic Christian Church (Nazarene), Silvia was devoted to her church and her family and she will be deeply missed.

The Liuba family will receive friends at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. West, Kitchener, Ontario on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 1pm. Interment. Reception at Apostolic Christian Church (Nazarene), Strasburg Rd., Kitchener.

Arlie was predeceased by her parents Fred and Eva Clarke and by her husband Ted in 1991, brother Gordon Clarke (Audrey) and sister-in-law Addie. She is survived by brothers Kenneth (Marna) and Stanley Clarke.

She is survived by nieces and nephews Bruce (Marion) Ron (Laura) Schmitt, Jeffrey (Annikka), Bruce (Karen) Clarke, Maryanne Themistocleous, Susan Schmitt, and Gwen (Joe) Schermaul.

Arlie was a longtime member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and a proud long term employee of the T. Eaton Company. Arlie was a skilled quilter and knitter.

Born in Toronto, Ontario, Callista Mary Reid married the late Gerald Francis Travers in 1953 and lived in Kitchener. After the death of her husband she moved to Guelph.

Loving mother of Eileen and Peter Smalley, Ellen and Paul Mickus, Lawrence Travers, Raymond Travers, Colleen and Walter Pingle, Cecilia Travers, (deceased), Daniel Travers and Rebecca Lovett, Cathy and Rod Emerson. Dear grandmother to Jason, Cindy ,Michelle, Christopher, Elizabeth, Brad, Ashley, Timothy, Shannon, Sarah, Lindsay, Zachery. Great grandmother to Samuel, William, Lauren, Avery, Shane, Ava, Cohen, Jaxen, Hudson, Blake, Isabelle, Benjamin, Cooper and Charlie.

Dear brother of Doris Glenn of Goderich, Lois Loney of Kentucky, Molly Wagner of Stratford, Tom Broome of Goderich, Brian Broome (Yvonne) of Kitchener, and brother-in-law of Pat Broome of Seaforth. William will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Albert and Violet (nee Dick) Broome, brothers Ron Broome (Bessie), George Broome, Lee Broome, Robert Broome, siblings-in-law Wilfred Glenn, Cecil Loney, Lee Broome, and life-long friend Gene.

Cremation has taken place and memorial visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street W., Seaforth, on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 2 p.m. until the time William’s funeral service at 3 p.m. Pastor Steve Hildebrand will officiate and interment will take place at Maitlandbank followed by a reception.

He was an avid Ham radio enthusiast (call number VE3 AVO) and Lionel train collector.

A lover of nature, classic cars, and classical music, Bill thoroughly enjoyed his retirement years in Prince Edward County.

MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at the Whattam Funeral Home Chapel, 33 Main Street, Picton on Saturday, September 12th at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Harold James McKendry, in his 82nd year, was the beloved husband of the late Marlene (nee Budd) McKendry.He was the dear father of Tim and Colleen (Rob) Baker and he was the dear Papa of Emma, who lovingly calling him 'the grumpy old troll.' Harold is predeceased by his siblings Norm, Eileen Kennedy, Archie and Jack. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Harold served the City of Guelph for 38 years as a police officer, retiring as the Deputy Chief.

Lovingly remembered by his nephews and nieces: Billy, Robert, Andrea, Michelle, Rachael, Nicholas, Simon, Natalie, Matthew, Alex, Sean and Duncan and honorary nieces Lindsay and Chloe and nephew Jesse.
Great-uncle to Alex, Christopher, Victoria, Dylan, Brooklyn, Kyle, Hayden and Keaton. Special friends Alicyn, Lyna and Nadine were among the many he left to mourn his death. He was pre-deceased by his father, William (2014).

Jim's family will receive relatives and friends from 6-9 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, Ontario.
