Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness with his family always by his side, at Guelph General Hospital on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at the age of 87.
Beloved husband of Anna. Loving father of Maria D’Ulisse. Dear grandfather of Ashley Carla Hersey (Kyle Faarup); and great-grandfather of Parker Kyle Daniel.
Dear brother of Gino (Agnes), Elena (Mario Campana), and the late Attilio (Carmela), and Tony (Rosa). He will be missed by all his nieces, nephews and relatives in Canada, Italy, and Belgium.
A special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Guelph General Hospital for their care and support.
A Funeral Mass will be held at the Church of Our Lady on Saturday, May 25th at 10 a.m. Entombment, Guelph.

Predeceased by her parents, William and Barbara Nemeth, brothers George, Balint, Steven and Tony and sisters Mary and Sue. She was a faithful member of St. Aloysius RC Church for over 60 years.

ERB, Albert Peter -
After a long and full life that was lived with kindness and a gentle spirit, Albert died suddenly, but peacefully, at his home in Wellesley, on Tuesday, May 21, 2013. He was 91.
Family was everything to Albert. He is survived by his dear wife and constant companion, Irene (Lebold), with whom he shared 68 years of marriage that demonstrated mutual support and love for each other. He was a loving and supportive father to Mary Jane and Wayne Schwartz of Wellesley, Mark and Shelley Erb of Elmira and Jim and Marianne Erb of Waterloo. Grandpa was extremely proud of his seven grandchildren whom he showered with his unconditional love and bags of cheesies; Matthew and Trevor Schwartz, Kim and her husband Shawn Green, Stephanie and her husband Ben Gunn, David Erb and his wife Leanne Baer, Michael and his wife Diana Erb and Rudy Vincent and his wife Brandi Barens. His life was blessed with 11 great-grandchildren whom he adored; Blake, Aleenah, Evan, Addison, Kenzie, Cecilia, Oliver, Elliott, Katie, Jacquie and James. He will be fondly remembered by Irene’s brother and sisters, Irv and his wife Grace Lebold of Brantford, Doris Jantzi of Exeter, Betty Mitchell of Waterloo, and nine nieces and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his parents Salome Boshart and Menno O. Erb, a sister in infancy and brothers-in-law Orval Jantzi and Ernie Mitchell.
A service to give thanks for his life and faith will be held at Erb Street Mennonite Church, 131 Erb Street West, Waterloo on Monday, May 27 at 11 am, with Rev. Eleanor Epp-Stobbe officiating. Interment will follow. Following the committal service at the cemetery, friends and relatives are invited to return to the church for refreshments and a time to visit with the family.
Donations to Aldaview Residential Services, New Hamburg, where Albert and Irene’s oldest grandson Matthew lives, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Zigfrid will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
A memorial visitation will take place at SCHREITER-SANDROCK FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 51 Benton St. Kitchener on Thursday May 23, 2013 from 11 until the time of service in the funeral home chapel at 12 noon with Rev. William Shafer officiating.

Passed away after a long illness on May 20, 2013 at the Grand River Hospital, in his 88th year.
Beloved father of Carol Szwajkowski (Stan) and cherished grandfather of Bobby, Michael, and Laura. He is also survived by his sister Beverly Cudney (Danial), sister-in-law Edith and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his wife Joan (2001) and his brother Fred. Bob served on the Cambridge Fire Department for more than 25 years and he retired as Captain and was a WWII Veteran of the Canadian Army, S.S. Scottish Regiment and he raised Standard Bred Horses for racing and bred "Derby Time" his stallion.
Bob's family wish to thank the nurses on the 2nd and 4th floors of the Freeport Hospital and the Grand River Hospital for their wonderful care. In accordance with his wishes, private family services and burial have taken place.
If desired, donations in his honour to the Freeport Hospital Rehabilitation Department in his memory would be appreciated by his family.

BURNS, Myra Christina -
Passed away at Emmanuel Village, Kitchener on Monday, May 20, 2013 at the age of 87 years.
Beloved wife of the late Reginald Mackay Burns (April 1983) of Bridgetown, Nova Scotia and daughter of the late Robert and Katherine Core of Glasgow Scotland.
Myra was born in 1926 in Strathmiglo, Fife and was raised and educated in Glasgow Scotland. She served three years in the Auxiliary Territorial Service as a Driver Mechanic during the Second World War. She came to Canada in 1948 and lived in Montreal for five years working for the CPR.
She moved to Toronto where she met her husband. She was a member of St. John’s Ambulance and worked for Howden and Parsons of Scarborough.
In 1974 they moved to Kitchener and she worked as a Secretary for NCR of Waterloo until her retirement in 1991.
A private graveside service in Waterloo.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Association or the Canadian Cancer Society may be made.

A husband, father, grandfather, brother and son, Peter valiantly faced his final year with strength, determination and faith.
Passing his final days surrounded by his wife Eleanor and children, Carolyn, Christine and Mark, he was finally able to rest and pass onto his next great adventure.
Beloved husband of Eleanor (Dietrich). Dear father of Carolyn and husband JP Boileau of Kitchener, Christine and her husband Mark Honderich of Guelph and Mark and his fiancee Tiffany Herman of Kitchener.
Beloved Grandpa to his grandchildren, Aidan, Grace, Leah, Zachary, Claire and newest member "Jellybean" coming at Thanksgiving. Brother and friend of Tommy and his wife Jean of McKillop Township.
Dear son-in-law of Mary Dietrich and the late Charles of Mount Carmel. Brother-in-law of Rosemary McCallum (Dave), Larry (April), JoAnn Muegge (Richard), Michael, Madeline Dietrich, Theresa Dietrich, Elizabeth Dietrich, Joe (Georgina), Chas, David (Mey), Peter will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mary (Feeney) and Joseph Eckert of McKillop Township.
The family would like to extend its gratitude to the many friends and neighbours - Joan and Earl Haid, Don Carthy and Ann and Jerry Liesemer who supported and cared for Peter and family over the last year. As well, to the many volunteers and friends at the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre, Dr. Karen Cameron, the sixth floor nurses and especially the CCAC palliative care unit who so tenderly provided comfort and care in his last days at home and to Fr. Voisin for his prayers and visits - we thank you.
He will be remembered by many friends, neighbours and extended family as a loving and generous friend. We know that he is in Heaven with the many great people who have gone before him and take comfort in knowing that he is in a better place.

Peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph, on Monday, May 20, 2013.
Jim is survived by his wife for over 61 years, Ellen Foote (Middlemiss); his daughter Mary Jean Darroch (Murray); his grandsons Andrew, Scott, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Russell Foote and Jean V. Ronald (Foote); step father, Roy Ronald and sister & brother in-law Elizabeth Howard (Gord).
Jim was born and raised in Fergus and spent a few years sailing on the great lakes before entering into retail business.
Upon retirement, Jim and Ellen settled into their cottage and he applied himself full time to his ham radio hobby. Jim was a member of the Fergus Legion Branch #275.
As per Jim’s request, cremation has taken place and inurnment will follow in Fergus at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph’s Health Centre for their devoted care.

Peacefully surrounded by her family at Golden Years Nursing Home on Monday, May 20, 2013 in her 96th year.
Beloved wife of the late Steve Goad (1956).
Mother of Gary (Liz), Terry (Jane), Jim (Pauline), Judy (Fran) Isley, Gail (Doug) Campbell and Tim (Claudia) all of Cambridge. Loving Nanny to 26 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Wilma (Jack) Cramer and Shirley (Joe) Downey. Predeceased by her parents William and Pauline Kimpel and sisters Marie Whitelaw, Irene Pells, Sister Mary William, Rita Nowak and brothers Gord, Roy and Wilbur.
Survived by many nieces and nephews who will fondly remember their Auntie Ivadell. Ivadell's love for her family was very evident in the way her face lights up when they visited and phoned her. She will be missed by everyone who knew her smiling face.
Ivadell was a life time member of St. Clement's Church and a member for over fifty years of the St. Clement's C.W.L. Before she retired she worked for St. Clement's Credit Union for over Thirty Years.
The family would like to thank the staff and residents at Golden Years Nursing Home for their love and support for the last three years. They are now part of our extended family.
The gates of Heaven have welcomed her and may we all take comfort in knowing that she is in a better place and finally reunited with Dad.

Passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by his family, on May 20, 2013 at the age of 80 years.
Clare is survived by his beloved wife and constant companion Patsy (Downey) to whom he was married for 56 years. A devoted and respected father, he will be lovingly remembered by his seven children, Ellen (Wayne Berwick) of New Hamburg, Therese (Rick Dunn) of Conestogo, Mary Claire (Rick Sackfield) of Richmond Hill, Patrick (Jackie) of Bradford, Geoff (Cindy) of Keswick, Bill (Deirdre) of Waterloo and Donna Marie (Jeff Wilson) of Elora. His youngest daughter, Kerry Louise died in January of 1974. He will be especially missed by his 21 devoted grandchildren and two great grandsons of whom he was extremely proud. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, George (Shirley) Rose Marie Overland, Laverne (Laura), Alice Preiditsch (Bernie), David (Sandy), Tom (Janet), Marjorie Goodyear (Larry), Mary Daunheimer, Joanne Hepditch and Sharon Boyle (Mike). Clare will be fondly remembered by Patsy’s family, Rosemary Downey (our angel), Agnes Norris (Barry), Terrence and Margaret Downey, his sisters-in-law Barb Logel, Genevieve Logel and by his many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Leona (Forester) and Charles Logel, by brothers Dan, and Jim and by brothers-in-law Al Overland and Norbert Downey.
Clare retired from Epton (formerly BF Goodrich) after 35 years. He was the owner and operator of Maryhill Appliance as well as the only independent agent for Dumfries Mutual Insurance Company, from where he retired in December 2010. He was a member of the Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus and St. Boniface Church Choir.
The Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Clare’s life and faith will be held at St. Boniface RC Church, 1394 Maryhill Rd, Maryhill on Saturday, May 25 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Ronald Voisin as celebrant. Interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, condolences for the family and donations to St. Boniface RC Church Building Fund, Cardiac Fitness Association, Breslau, or the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Of St. Jacobs, died unexpectedly, as the result of a massive heart attack on Monday, May 20, 2013 at the age of 63.
Loving husband of Lynette (nee Moyer) for nearly 42 years.
Supportive father of Taylor and Sarah Martin and Travis Martin. Fun-loving PopPop of Emma and Lydia. Dear brother of Len (Marty, deceased in 2010) and Mary Ann, Miriam and Loren Stauffer, Arlene and Harvey Kehl, Arnie, Jim and Shirley, Erla and Lloyd Koch, Ron, Ken and Gloria, Marilyn and Paul Brubacher and Darrell. Brother-in-law of Dale and Sharon Moyer, Carl and Jean Moyer, Lois and Cleon Hackman, Nancy and Bob Delp, and Glen and Donna Moyer. Larry is remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, Menno R. and Mary Ann Martin and parents-in-law, Harold and Kathryn Moyer.
In his professional career, Larry was a catalyst in the development of St. Jacobs Country and was General Manager of The Stone Crock Inc. for 22 years. He then went on to found and serve as Innkeeper at Best Western St. Jacobs Country Inn for 12 years. He lived vigorously and was involved in many community iniatives and was actively involved in Elmira Mennonite Church. Larry had a passion for the environment, fundraising, golfing, and world travel.
The memorial service will be held at Elmira Mennonite Church, 58 Church St. W., Elmira on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Fred Lichti officiating.
A private family committal service will take place at Elmira Mennonite Church Cemetery prior to the service. A reception will immediately follow the service at the Elmira Lions Hall, 40 South St. W., Elmira.

Beloved wife of the late Edward Mills. Survived by her children; Tom (Nancy) Mills, Deb Keen, Sue (Bob) French; grandchildren Casey (Josh), Jessie, Ben, Patrick, Kaitlin, Mitchell, Megan and Daniel. Predeceased by her son David Mills.
Helen was a longtime member of the Catholic Women's League of St. Teresa RC Church. She loved Polish cooking and baking special treats for her grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Teresa RC Church (44 Leonard St., Kitchener) on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 11am. Cremation will follow.

Dear father-in-law of Sue Pietraszko. Also survived by his sisters, Clara (late Stan), Josie (late Steve) and brothers Adam (Marjorie), John (Eileen) and Henry (Cecile). Proud grandfather of Jason (Julie), Kevin (Jen), Jeffrey (Allison), Jamie (Alexandra), Andy, Chloe (Mike), Ryan, Amber (Robbie), Patrick and Brendan.
Walter will also be missed by his many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother Salonea, father Karl, brother Joe (Alda), sons John (in infancy) and Carl and granddaughter Beckie. Walter enjoyed a lifetime profession in the auto body side of Stedelbauer Chev, Olds, Cadillac (formerly Orr Automobiles).
After growing old along with company Walter spent his years of retirement enjoying golf with his buddies and playing cards at Fred Geis Branch 50 Royal Canadian Legion.
Blessed with charm and quick-witted humor, he enjoyed socializing with you all. At Walter's request there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place.

WAGNER, Martha Victoria -
Of Kitchener, passed away at home on Monday, May 20, 2013 at age 87.
Beloved wife of the late Clayton Wagner (2000); step-mother of Laurie Chatten (Paul), Douglas Wagner (Janet), and Craig Wagner (Anne); grandmother of Darryl, Candace, Mason, Emily, Melanie, Aimee, Brandon and Kaylee.
Dear sister of Patricia Kropf (Emmett, dec.), Claude (Elaine), George (Shirley), Alvin (Marilyn), Gerald (Judy), Margaret, Connie, Paula Povey (Robert), and Tim (Sue). Martha will be missed by nearly 100 nieces, nephews, their spouses, the Pauli family and many friends.
Predeceased by sisters, Gertrude, Helene, and Shirley Lorentz and her husband Len, and a step-son Gary Wagner.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 25th at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 49 Queen St. N., Kitchener with Rev. Mark Ehlebracht officiating. Reception to be held immediately after the service at the church followed by interment.

HALL, Elisabeth (nee Campbell) -
Passed away after her brave fight with cancer.
She immigrated to Canada on Mother's Day in 1969. She had been a proud member of The Eastern Star since 1970 and was a past District Deputy Grand Matron.
She is survived by her two daughters Alexandra Timmins and Katrina Wells and their families, sister-in-law Linda Visser and family and brother-in-law Tom Bruce and family.
Funeral Service will be held at Olivet United Church, 40 Empress Avenue, Hamilton on Saturday, May 25th at 11 a.m. A private interment will be held for the family.
Elisabeth asked that any donations be made to The Cancer Assistance Program.
The daughters would like to express special thanks to The Juravinski Cancer Centre (especially the staff of Clinic D and Dr. Tozer and Dr. Gidalias), The CCAC (especially Gini Cale), The VON (especially Debra Eagles), The Cancer Assistance Program (especially her driver Paul), The Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice (especially Teri Crockford) and all her friends for the constant love and support.

One of the kindest, gentlest, of men passed away on Sunday May 19, 2013 at the age of 80 after a long courageous battle with cancer, at Lisaard House, with his loving family by his side.
Beloved husband of Janet (née Pigeau) of Waterloo for 60 years. Father of Michael (Diane) of Barrie, Carol of Waterloo and Linda (Gary) Giesler of Clarksburg. Survived by grandchildren Kevin (Tracie), Marc and Daina (Mathieu Grandmont) and great grandchildren Sophie and Hunter, sister Jacqueline Jagelavicius of New Jersey and sister-in-law Jacqueline Levis of North Bay and his cat, Callie.
Predeceased by parents Ludger and Rosa, brothers Roland and Regent, sister Huguette and granddaughter Karen (1999).
Born in Foss Mill ON, lived the early part of his life in Kiosk ON, once a small logging community in northern Algonquin Park. Relocated to Waterloo in 1966 with his family where he worked as a hoisting engineer until his retirement in 1993. Usher at St. Agnes Church, member of Cursillo, past member of Serra and Holy Name Society. Accomplished artist, avid sports fan and golfer. Friends are invited to share their memories of

McCREARY, Albert -
Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph on Sunday, May 19, 2013, in his 79th year.
He will be dearly missed by his loving family, his wife Darlene, daughters Suzanne (Clifford Hamilton), Cindy (Dennis Jennings) and Dianne (Steven Mortimer). He will be fondly missed by his nine grandchildren, Scott (Amanda), Brian (Kayla), Roy (Malorie), Jenny (Mike), Kevin (Heather), William (Brittany), Megan, Andy (Megan) and Henry, as well as his two great grandchildren Haley Jennings and Nathan Mortimer. Cremation will take place.
Special thanks for the compassionate care given to Albert by all staff from Ashley and Elmwood during his five years there, and to Mapleview and Magnolia during his last few months.

Born in Stratford, passed away peacefully at Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, May 19, 2013, in his 65th year.
Beloved husband and best friend of 43 years to Debbie (nee Snell).
Dear brother of Donna (Ken) Huffman of Thamesville, Bill Mitchell of Guelph, and Bob Mitchell of Goderich. Brother-in-law of Mark (Yvonne) Norris of Oshawa and Donna Strickland (Greg) of Niagara Falls. Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Predeceased by sister-in-law Erin Dunn (2008). Known as Ken Mitchell, Ray Mitchell, RayKen, and numerous other names by his family and friends.
Everyone knew his bark was worse than his bite, his heart was as big as all outdoors.
Each year, he would look forward to volunteering to do to do taxes with CRA, and the clients who came to the house. Being a CMA Accountant, he was always willing to help anyone with accounting needs.
Funeral service on Saturday, May 25th.

Passed away, suddenly, on Sunday, May 19, 2013. Brenton Neely, age 35 years.
The beloved son of Harry Neely and Rosanna (nee Finoro) Crea and her husband Domenico. He was the dear brother of Deva Neely.
Brenton is survived by his daughter, Makaylah, by his nonna, Ida Finoro, and by aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Brenton's life will take place in Guelph on Sunday, May 26th.

Passed away suddenly on Sunday May 19, 2013 at her home in New Hamburg.
She was born 65 years ago in St. Thomas and was the daughter of the late Garnet & Lorna (Mifflin) Haskell.
Beloved wife of David Neitzel whith whom she celebrated 17 years of marriage.
Loving mother of Connie & life partner Donna Sipes of Kitchener and Kathy & husband Matthew Allan of New Hamburg.
Sadly missed by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and her step-son Shaun Neitzel of Kitchener.
Remembered by her two sisters, six brothers and the Neitzel family.
Lynda was predeceased by her daughter Cherylann, son James and one brother.
Cremation has taken place.
Service in New Hamburg on Thursday May 23rd.

Beloved husband of Grace Weinstein (nee Bignell) of 60 years. Loved father of Pennie (Jim) Wallace of Kemble (Owen Sound) and Rebekah Grace Snow of Calgary.
Cherished grandfather of Melanie (Michael) Arruda of Stoney Creek, Bob (Tamara) Wallace of Ayr and much loved great grandfather of Rori, Shelby and Colton Wallace.
Predeceased by his brother Bob (WW2) and sisters Ruth and Evelyn.
Bill was a perfectionist and hard worker in stained glass, plumbing, electrical and carpentry. He loved people, had many friends and will be missed by all.
Arrangements out of Kitchener. The funeral service will be held on Thursday May 23rd at the Church of the Holy Saviour, 33 Allen St. E., Waterloo at 11 am with The Venerable Peter T. Townshend officiating. A reception will be held at the Church following the interment.

Gerry slipped peacefully away on Sunday, May 19th, 2013 to his eternal reward from Grand River Palliative Care, Freeport at age 81. Born November 11, 1931 in Wellesley.
Beloved husband and best friend of (Elizabeth) Betty Zehr and father of Gerrie (Dave) Boehm, Richard (Cathy), Cathy (Jeff) Dienesch; proud grandfather of Jessica (Ryan), Ryan (Becky), Heather (Andrew), Nicole (Steve), Chris (Ashley), Matt (Crystal), Jordan, Josh and great-grandfather to Kenzie, Eden, Abbigail, Zachary, Annabelle, Sarah, Avery, Blake, Lara, and Lauren.
Gerry will be missed by siblings and spouses, Laurene Zehr, Stan (Laurene), Joanne (Doug) Grischow, Paul, Ruth Yantzi, Rhoda (Glen) Baechler and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by parents, Aaron and Katie (Leis); siblings Mary Zehr, Harold, Grace Lizmore; sister-in-law Ginger Zehr; and brother-in-law Wayne Yantzi.
Gerry retired from Grand River Transit after 33 years and Heffner Motors after 18 years. A long term active member of Kitchener Gospel Temple – usher, deacon, elder, Sunday School teacher, seniors’ ministry. An avid traveller and active volunteer for Oscar Scherer State Park (Florida), Operation Christmas Child, and Gleaners.
A celebration of his life will be held at Kitchener Gospel Temple, 9 Conway Drive, Kitchener on Thursday, May 23rd at 11 a.m. with visitation at the church prior to the service from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Following a reception at the church, interment will take place.
