Beloved husband of Kathryn 'Kathy' Gail (nee Balcomb) Abbey for over 27 years.

Dear father of Don and his wife Mary, Chris Hart and her husband Daryl, Karen Schram and her husband Ed, Keven Young and his wife Lisa and Kyle Young and his wife Denise. Loved grandfather of Theresa Abbey, Eddie Abbey, Andrew Abbey (Stacey), Jayme Emerson (Corey), Amanda Hart, Katrina Hart (Jordan), Ryan Schram (Nikkee), Nicole Ryerse (Dwayne), Gerrod Young, Rachel Young, Kody Young, Alex Young, Emma Young and great grandfather of Carter, Naomi, Max, Laiken, Lucan and Madison.

Survived by his brothers; Gord Abbey, Robert Abbey and will be remembered by in-laws; Laurene (late Sonny) Karnes, Connie (late Glenn) Balcomb and Shirley and Garry Brandon.

Predeceased by his parents Alma Jean (nee McDowell) and Archie Abbey, son Gary (1958), sisters-in-law Carole Abbey and Isabel Abbey.

Clarke was a former volunteer firefighter and a member of the Optimist Club. He enjoyed farming, camping and being out of doors with his dog Tippy. He was a past employee of Pre-Con in Woodstock for over 47 years.

Funeral Service will take place in Woodstock on April 1st.

If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Oxford 4H Association or the Woodstock Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.

Passed away peacefully on March 29, 2015 with family by her side at the age of 91.

Predeceased by her husband Sam, son Andrew, granddaughter Deborah, 9 brothers and 6 sisters.

Lovingly remembered by her son Clifford, daughter-in-law Sharon, brother John, grandchildren David (Martha), Paul (Cindy), Alison, Shane and grandson-in-law Craig Covino. Great-grandma to Samual, Tom, Scott, Jessica, Jordan, Kelly, Jenn and Cody and great-great grandma to Henry Covino.

Gertrude will be fondly remembered by the staff and her many friends at Forest Heights Long Term Care. Her home was always a must place to visit by her many relatives and family members.

The family wishes to express its gratitude to the staff of Forest Heights, especially the Gibbon House nursing station on the 3rd floor for their expert care and kindness during her stay.  A special thank you to daughter-in-law Sharon for her constant attendance to Gertrude's personal and business needs.

Funeral service will be held in Kitchener, on Thursday, April 2nd at 11 am with interment to follow.

Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Madeline was the organist and member at West Oxford United Church for many years.

In his 91st year.

Active and independent until the end, Tom passed peacefully after a brief illness on Saturday, March 28, 2015.

Much loved husband of the late Maureen.

Survived by his daughters Patricia (Bill Sornberger), Denise (Rod Lawrence), grandchildren Allie (Kyle), Jill (Troy), Mark and Alyssa (Shane), sister Maureen Mullin in Northern Ireland and special friend Pat Dennis. Tom was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1924 and came to Canada in 1953 in search of sunshine.

He could only be described as a "true gentleman" and will be greatly missed by all of his many friends and especially by his family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 115 St. Andrews Road, Scarborough.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your favourite charity.

Tom always enjoyed a gathering so friends are invited to raise a glass and share a story following the service.

Beloved wife of the late Jack Simm, and then to the late Gus Mitges.

Cherished mother of Tina Muller (Richard) and Yolanda Mitges (the late David), and the late Tony Simm. Dear grandmother of Michelle, Melanie, Dominic and Antonia, and great-grandmother of Laura, Nicole, Evan and Lachlan. Predeceased by her parents Raymondo and Santina Odarico.

Loving sister of Remo, Reno, Rena, and the late Ray and Rosie. She will be sadly missed by her siblings and their spouses, and also by sisters and brothers in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and relatives in England, France and Italy.

The family would like to thank CCAC, Hospice Wellington, and Guelph General Hospital for the great care and compassion provided to Yolanda.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Basilica of Our Lady, 28 Norfolk Street, Guelph, on Wednesday, April 1st at 10:00 a.m.

Alex passed peacefully after an extended illness with his wife and family by his side on March 28, 2015 at Lapointe Fisher Nursing Home, Guelph in his 80th year.

Alex was born in Long Branch Toronto to his parents William and Elizabeth (Deceased).

Loving husband of Barbara for 31 years. Dear father of Shane and Bill Glenn and step-father of Lana McMullen (Perry), Kim Logan (Wayne) and Jackie McMullen (Omar). Cherished grandfather “Grumps” of Cody, Taylor, Brandon, Tori, Kurtis, Jesse, Justine, Kendra, Krizia, Lauren and great grandfather of Jacob.

Alex was a dedicated Jehovah’s Witness, who had many loved extended family and friends. Alex was well known for his beautiful tenor voice, great sense of humor and brilliant smile. His grandchildren loved to spend time with their “Grumps”. Barb will forever miss his singing while he does the dishes. Alex had many hobbies and enjoyed many building projects. Many will remember Alex as a Realtor in the Halton Hills area.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday April 4th at the Acton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses
(14009 Road 25, 1 km north of Acton) at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers donation to the Watchtower or C.C.A.C would be appreciated by the family.

Surrounded by love Hank passed peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Friday, March 27th, 2015 in his 95th year.

Beloved husband of 70 years to Jean (nee Easterbrook). Loving father to Carolyn (Pam 2008), Russell (Julie) and Terry (Sandy). Cherished Grandpa to Amanda (Scott), Alyson (Josh), Zarena (Brent), Mirrelle (Neil), David (Delia), Cori (Clayton), Holly (Chad); 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

Hank enlisted in the Navy in 1939 and served as a signalman until 1945. During that time he was stationed in St. Johns, Newfoundland, where he met Jean, the love of his life. He loved Newfoundland as his second home.

Hank was a lifelong volunteer, well recognized in the Cambridge community where he lived for 54 years. His faith was central to his life and he was actively involved in all of the churches he attended. He was an avid gardener and loved feeding the birds every morning. He loved and was proud of his family.

Hank was named Cambridge's first 'Good Neighbour of the Week' in 1992, and we would like to thank Maria Costa, Barb and Ralph Tippen, Dawn Graham and all of his neighbours and friends who supported him and allowed he and Jean to continue living independently for so many years.  Thanks also to Cambridge Memorial Hospital nurses Amy and Joanne, who helped comfort and care for him in his last days. Cremation has taken place.

To honour Hank's wishes a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 2nd at Good News Church 215 South St, Cambridge at 11am.

Grandma will be missed by Melissa, Amy, Elizabeth, Sabrina, Jamie, Tyler, Krista, Tiffany and Felicity along with her great grandchildren; Taylor, Rylee, Caden, Tanner, Quentin, Tamara, Brittany, Cassandra, Dylan, Erica, Maelie also great great-grandson Tommy.

Velma will be remembered by her siblings; Doreen Sequin, Marlene (Hartley) McHarg, Leone Duncan, Doris (David) Illman, Joyce (Robert) Hansen, Ross (Lois) Duncan and Brian Duncan also brothers-in-law Ken O'Grady and Pete Geertsma. Besides her parents, Velma was predeceased by her son Calvin (1948), sisters, Alma and Marjorie, brothers, Colin and Glen and brothers-in-law Gilbert Sequin and Bill Stacey and sister-in-law Mildred Duncan.

The Funeral Service will be held in Stratford, on Wednesday, April 1st.

She was born in Stratford, March 8, 1931, daughter of the late William and Alice Davidson. Jean graduated from Stratford Normal School in 1951. She taught at Alderdale, Jasper and the Niagara Peninsula, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Thamesview United Church and the Retired Women Teachers of Ontario.

She is survived by sisters-in-law Margaret Broughton, Ruth Davidson, Phyllis Davidson and many nieces and nephews and their families.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers Aubrey, Jack, Harold and Herbert Davidson and sisters Isobel Davidson, Wilma Clarke and Shirley Davidson.

Cremation. Arrangements out of Stratford. A graveside service will be held in the spring.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Clara’s life will be held at the Bethany Evangelical Missionary Church, 160 Lancaster Street East, Kitchener, on Monday, March 30th at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mark Wilcox officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall. Arrangements out of Waterloo.
