SAMUEL, Darlene  -  Of Fergus, passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Monday, December 25, 2017, at the age of 67.

Darlene was a strong, spirited, determined, and passionate individual who made a positive impact on the lives of those in her family, church and community.

She is survived by her beloved husband and best friend Reynold Samuel. Darlene is loved and will be missed by her brother James, daughter Angela and grandson Matthieu. She will be fondly remembered by her niece Kesha and extended family members and dear friends.


Drexler BrianDREXLER, Brian Martin  -  Brian’s passing, at the age of 32, came unexpectedly on the morning of December 25th, 2017. 

He will be dearly missed and remembered by those who loved him. Brian is survived by his parents Martin and Belinda (nee Charbonneau) Drexler, his sisters Renee (Kursat Sarialioglu),and Jerica (Mitch Alder his brother-in-law and good friend), his grandparents Rose Marie (nee Bechard) and Ronald Charbonneau, as well as his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He is pre-deceased by his grandparents Alfred and Shirley (nee Bolton) Drexler, aunts Anne and Jackie as well as his cousins Christopher and Lisa.

He will be fondly remembered by his loving friend Melissa White.


BEEMER, Irene Mary Yvonne (nee Murtland)  –  Passed away peacefully on Monday December 25, 2017 at her residence Park Lane Terrace, Paris. Irene Beemer formerly of Drumbo in her 89th year.

Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Beemer. Mother of the late Bruce (Joyce), Stewart (Sandy) & Terry.  Grandmother to Tammy, Joanne & Johnny. Great-grandmother to many.

Irene was 'Mom' to many friends over the years and cherished her home and friends at Maple Grove Apartments in Drumbo.

Irene made good friends at Caressant Care in Woodstock before she made Park Lane in Paris her home.  Irene was well known for her crafting and continued gifting her creations right up to the end.


Bridges PatriciaBRIDGES, Patricia Ellen (nee Howitt)   -  Passed away suddenly at the Guelph General Hospital on Monday, December 25th at the age of 69. 

Beloved wife for over 49 years of Chris Bridges. 

Loved mother of Sherry Moore (Mark) of Guelph and Michael Bridges of Wroxeter, ON. Proud grandmother of Arron, Kimberly, Jordan and Crispin. 

Dear sister of Betty Bridges (Kenny) of Guelph and Bob Howitt (Janice) of Fordwich; daughter in- law of Jean Bridges, sister in- law of Frank 'Skip' Bridges (Judith) and Judy Kerr (John). 


SMITH, William James -  At age 66 of Francis Lake, ON passed away peacefully on Monday, December 25, 2017 at home with his children by his side. Born in Sudbury, ON to Sydney and Ruby Smith he lived many years in Kitchener, ON, then became a 'Snowbird'.

Bill was a great father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who was always there for you with a big smile. Early retirement from the Automotive industry allowed twenty years of the things Bill loved such as travelling, golfing, fishing and adventures on his motorcycle.

Bill  was very proud of his two children, Lawrence of London and Angela (Mark) of Guelph, and his three grandsons Austin, Cohnar and Andrew. He is also survived by his sister Chris (Bill) of St. Catharines and three brothers Bert of Sudbury, Perry (Dawn) of Calgary and Gary of Toronto, as well as many friends and family.


Ramsay ElaineRAMSAY, Elaine Mary (nee Steffler)  -  Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at The Elliott Community on Monday, December 25, 2017, in her 86th year. 

Beloved wife of and best friend of the late Lloyd Ramsay (Dec. 20, 2015).  

Loved mother of Brenda MacIsaac (the late Doug Faulkner), Brian (Laura) Ramsay, Donna (Jim) Thiessen and Ron (Wendy) Ramsay. Loving grandmother of Jessica (Jason McClennan), Michelle (Chuck Pinson), Mandi (Dave Slack), Cristy, Kevin, Nathan, Alex and Lianna. Great grandmother of Devon, Trevor, Ryden and Jaylynn and Skylar.

Loving son of Paul and Helen, dear brother of Scott (Amanda) and Jennifer and cherished uncle to Abigail. He is survived by his grandmothers, Pamela Ingram-Cotton of Waterloo and Brenda Ingram-Cotton of California.

Predeceased by his grandfather, John Ingram-Cotton, and grandparents Lorne and Isabelle Weber.

He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.


Nowack DarrellNOWACK, Darrell  -  Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital on December 25, 2017.

Beloved husband to the late Diana Peters (2011). Loving son to Marie Nowack. Loving father to Nicole and her fiancé, Andrew. Darrell will be missed by his brothers Rick, Dale, Brett and many nieces and nephews.

Darrell was Predeceased by his father Earl and David Nowack.


Eidt ErinEIDT, Erin  -  Heaven gained a smiling angel on December 25, 2017.

She was the beloved first born to Cindy Savard (Carl Dawson) and Joel Eidt (Laura Boronka). Loving, caring sister to Evan, Elizabeth, Emerson (Travis & Daniella). Cherished Granddaughter to Rita Savard, Sandra Eidt and the late Ross Eidt.

She will be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, best friends, the family whom she resided with and many more. 

We will forever be missing a part of our hearts will cherish the memories we have.


McGill RuthMCGILL, Ruth (Eickmeier)  -  At age 94, of Mitchell passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Ritz Lutheran Villa, Mitchell on Sunday, December 24, 2017. She was born in 1923, the daughter of the late George C. Eickmeier and Martha (Rock).

Beloved wife of the late Keith McGill (2010).

Dear mother of Janis Murray and Bob McGill (Nora). Loving grandmother of Jennifer Dale, Jeffrey Keenliside, Tricia Murray (Jason) and Matthew McGill (Brittany). 'GiGi' was especially proud of her great grandchildren. Also surviving are her nephews and niece.

As well as her parents, Ruth was predeceased by an infant daughter Jean Louise (1955), son-in-law Bruce Murray (2017) and her brothers Milton (Rita), Ivan (Georgina) and Oscar (Esther).


Zieske UrsulaZIESKE, Ursula  -  Passed away at her Waterloo residence with her family by her side on Sunday December 24, 2017 at the age of 86.

Ursula was the loving and dedicated wife of John Zieske for 65 years. Dear mother of Marvin ( Sandra ) of Waterloo and Elizabeth Farr of Waterloo. Dear Oma to Jordan.

Fondly remembered by her sisters Friedolies ( Dieter ), Christa ( Horst ), and Veronika ( Carl ).

Predeceased by her parents Otto and Elfriede Rohde, her brother Manfred ( Dela ) and her dear son John (2002).

Parsons LesliePARSONS, Leslie Howard  -  Passed away with his loving family by his side at St. Mary's General Hospital on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at the age of 85.

Les was born on Bell Island, Newfoundland, on Jan. 25, 1932. He worked as a face cleaner in the iron ore mine until it closed. Les married the love of his life, Shirley Parsons, on November 23, 1956. They left Bell Island in 1962 to make their home in Waterloo. He went to work at Sunar (formerly Sunshine Manufacturing) until he retired. Les loved his cars and dogs...and had many of each over his life.

Predeceased by his parents William Charles and Gladys Parsons (nee Warilow).


Seldentuis DanielSELDENTUIS, Daniel Lee 'Dan'  -  Passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Cambridge, on Sunday December 24, 2017 at the age of 41. 

Loving and devoted husband of Tammy Seldentuis (nee Hachey). 

Cherished son of John and Margaret Seldentuis. Beloved brother of Warren Seldentuis and Dayna Letson (Kyle). Proud uncle of Case and Kohl Letson. Dan will also be sadly missed by his mother and father-in-law Nancy and Gerry Hachey, his brother-in-law Mark Hachey (Lisa-Ann), as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and a large circle of friends. 


Hiller RobertHILLER, Robert William 'Bob'  -  Passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at the age of 81 years.

Survived by his son Tim (Sonja) and grandchildren Lilli and James. He is also survived by his loving friend Elaine Seeley.  

Predeceased by his beloved wife Shirley, his parents Edward and Elmeda (nee Korell) Hiller and his brother William Arthur Hiller.


Broderick EllaBRODERICK, Ella Mae (nee McDougall)  -  Peacefully, in her sleep with family by her side, at Wellington Terrace in her 95th year, Ella Mae Broderick (nee McDougall).

She leaves her children Kathy and husband Terry Bolger and Tom and wife Tannis Broderick. Devoted grandmother to Aaron Bolger and Erica (Richard) Reid, Tara (Dwayne) Zwep, Adrian (A.J.) (Karalee) Broderick, and Ashley (Neil) Bartlett as well as 12 great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by her husband Adrian (1967) and her siblings Hilda Hill, Reta Lees, Ross McDougall, Robert McDougall and Don McDougall.
